They were eating silently. As the food was hot and spicy but they were hungry, both of them were sweating while eating in a rush. The gravy was too much spicy but they feel like they never ate such tasty food before as they were too much hungry.
"Wanna drink?" asked Jheong Woo but Dae Ju refused. Jheong Woo wanted to drink the costly wine here but he didn't order as Dae Ju refused. They finished their food within eight minutes and in this time both of them were silent. After finishing food they took two soda cans and left from there.
"What do you think? What will you do?" asked Jheong Woo while opening the can. Dae Ju starts walking slowly and Jheong Woo followed him.
"I don't know. I couldn't figure out anything. I didn't have to take any big decision in my life. Whenever I needed something, I ask the staff. Whenever I had to choose something, I asked them and my members. Whenever I fall on a problem, my PD was there to solve the problem. I just had to think about songs, I just had feelings for songs. I had to remember the lyrics, remember the dance steps. All I had to do was eat well, sleep well, perform on the stage well, practice well, write lyrics well, make music tones well, take my skincare well. I didn't have time for anything else to worry about. Now tell me, how can I make decisions which risked my own life and yours too?" Dae Ju looked at Jheong Woo with his poor face.
"Seems like you were too much reliance on others. But, it's time to grow up now. You have to take every decision on your own. And you know? I don't think you were that much dependent on others. Just think about those days when you joined the agency. Did you ask someone? Did anyone recommend you to be a singer? It was your choice. And after that, who gave you the ideas of making music and write lyrics? You did it with your own talent. What did you do when one of your members got sick? You make them porridge and feed them with your own hand. Who told you to do that? It was your decision. And when you go to the stage, who condole your heart that everything will be alright? It was always you. And who decides if you will go to the military or stay with your members? It's also you. You have to take your decisions and you will." Jheong Woo stopped here.
"Wait! How did you know that I have to go into the military? Mr. PD told me and nobody is aware of that!" Dae Ju was surprised and stopped walking.
"Don't you read the news? It's a hot topic! And there are so many fans who are asking for extended your time!" he took his phone and showed him news about him. His teammates went to an interview and the interviewer raised the topic. And in reply, Nam Gil said that it's his(Dae Ju's) choice if he wants to go or stay for more time.
"Ah! Then, everybody knows now! I wanted to keep it secret from them. But seems like they got me!" Dae Ju said and suddenly he remembered a thing and looked at Jheong Woo with his sharp eyes.
"What? Why you are looking at me like that?" Jheong Woo startled and asked.
"Someone said that he doesn't watch my videos. Then, how could you just tell me that much information?" Dae Ju was mocking his friend who didn't admit that he is his fan too.
"No! I just told because...." Jheong Woo found no other words to explain.
"Oh-ho! I know, I know! But, you follow me! Let me check my twitter if there is any name by Jheong Woo!" Dae Ju was making fun of him. He was laughing while he was saying that.
"Hey! Stop it already! Aish! You!" Jheong Woo was trying to hide his soft side but he was exposed and Dae Ju didn't leave the chance to make a joke of him. But, seeing him happy Jheong Woo was also happy and he smiled inside but he was showing that he got angry with Dae Ju.
"Hey! Stop it now! How could you laugh that much? If you kept laughing like this, your lungs will burst for sure." he tried to stop his friend but he failed. After some minutes, when Dae Ju finally calmed down, Jheong Woo made a face on him and said,
"Done laughing? Now can we go back to serious business?" Jheong Woo acted like he was angry but actually he was not.
"Ah! My tummy! It's bursting now!" Dae Ju holds his belly and said while breathing heavily.
"Yes! Sure!" he replied to Jheong Woo.
"Do you really think it would be alright if I go to the police? He will not hamper me, right?" Dae Ju was serious now. Aish!
"Why you are that coward? Maybe he will try to harm you but why we are here? We will protect you! Trust me and if you complain to the police they will also guard you." seems like he was scolding Dae Ju.
"I was not worried about me! Damn it! I was worried because of..." he screamed then calm down and make a very worried face.
"You know? He has a good relationship with Lina! I afraid if..." saying this he couldn't think about it anymore.
"What? What? What? Did you just say that Lina has a good relationship with him? No! How could this happen?" astonished Jheong Woo. Then he starts thinking about it and after some time, he talked again,
"But, if you don't take an action and he harmed her under your nose, can you ever forgive yourself?" he had a point and Dae Ju got it.
"You are right. I should be cautioned her." Dae Ju said with a very low voice and continued walking.
"Let's go." saying this he turned another way.
"Where are you going?" Jheong Woo couldn't understand what he should do now. He was confused for a while but after a few seconds, he decided to follow Dae Ju and came to him.
"To the police." Dae Ju said with a cool look.
"It's already late!" Jheong Woo replied.
"Hey! Do you have anyone who is waiting for you at home?" Dae Ju shouted in his style.
"No," replied Jheong Woo.
"But, I have. But still, I am not worrying. And also, he got me today that I went to the police station in the morning." said Dae Ju.
"What? How?" surprised Jheong Woo.
"How am I supposed to know?" Dae Ju replied with a hard voice. They went to the police station and Mr. Park was there as always. Seems like he was always ready to listen to Dae Ju and he is a helping hand to him. But the station was looking nicer than morning. All the staff was arranged very well and it was looking neat and clean. Mr. Park was working on something. He was wearing glass and he looked smarter than before. Both of them were standing outside and seeking permission to get inside.
"Yes, come in and take a seat." said the assistant without looking at them. They all were busy. Looks like they have been working on a serious case. Having the permission, Dae Ju and Jheong Woo came to Detective Park and stand quietly.
"What do you want?" Mr. Park also didn't notice them and asked.
"We are here to complain about someone," said Dae Ju.
"Assist them, please!" without looking at them Mr. Park said to his assistant.
"Yes, sure!" replied he and then told to them, "Come here, please!" He was also working so he couldn't notice them too.
"Oh! Rumi-sshi!" he noticed them now and shouted by his name. Hearing the name, Mr. Park looked at them and was kinda surprised.
"Why you are here at this late-night?" he was surprised.
"Please sit." without getting a reply he said again. Dae Ju and Jheong Woo looked at each other and after that, they took their seats.
"Who is the person you want to complain about?" asked the detective and took a paper to note the important things.
"It's our Chairman." Dae Ju was scared and replied shortly.
"What is his name?" Mr. Park asked coldly.
"I don't know his name yet. I called him just director. Everyone called him like that. That's why I couldn't get his name." Dae Ju wanted to cover himself for not knowing his name.
"Ah! What has he done to you?" He was too into his work that he didn't look at them but continued asking.
"He didn't do anything to me but I think he is gonna do something serious!" Dae Ju said with an excited voice.
"Why you think so?" now he got time and looked at Dae Ju.
Dae Ju told him everything that he heard and saw. He took his phone and showed the detective those photos which could be used for proof. Then he pointed at a car and said, "Look at it. I am 100% sure that it is the victim of my accident!" he assured the detective that it was the same car.
"Are you sure about it?" asked the detective by taking a look at the car.
"That's why we couldn't found the car! Why he hides it in his garage? It's really suspicious! Maybe he has any connection with that accident!" his face was full of tension and he was trying to connect the relation with the accident to the director.
"What(surprised)? But, how could this possible! I didn't know him before I joined the company and I joined after the accident because you guys canceled my driving license." he told the truth but in a curious way.
"Then what should we suppose to do with you? Worship you?" the detective got angry at Dae Ju.
"No! I didn't mean that! Accidents happen, you know! It wasn't lack of my skill it was just luck!" Dae Ju tried to be cool but he couldn't.
"Stop it!" Mr. Park hit the table strongly and shouted. Dae Ju stopped talking as he understood that he makes him angry.
"Why you do this to me? Whenever you come, you make me angry and I can't control myself! Why?" he was calm before but his voice increased and he shouted.
"I am sorry but, can you help me please(being serious)? I don't have enough money to give you but I can give you a free pass! with a bright smile Dae Ju said.
"Free pass?" after about half an hour, Jheong Woo opened his mouth.
"Yes, I will set a meeting with *EXTREME BOYS*. What do you say?" saying this he took a small piece of paper and start writing on it. He makes the paper as a one-time free pass. And wrote the rules how to use it. He gave it to the detective with his bright smile. Mr. Park received it but he squeezed the paper with one hand and put it on the table.
"Am I a joke to you?" asked the detective very calmly but he has rage in his eyes. Dae Ju got scared but he controlled his emotions and took the paper.
"Eh-he! You should not do this!" said Dae Ju with a disappointed face and tried to fix it. Though he couldn't fix it well he makes it usable. He folds it nicely and kept it on the table.
"Whenever you think, that you will help me, please call me." Dae Ju said with his sad voice.
"Okay, I will call you later. Now, leave! I have a lot of work!" said the detective with an exhausted voice.
"Yes, Bye then." Dae Ju gets up and Jheong Woo also followed him. They make a bow and turn back to leave the place but suddenly the detective summoned Dae Ju.
"Rumi-sshi!"
"Yes?" replied Dae Ju.
"Just act normal. Don't make him understand that you came to us or you know anything about him. Just behave normally and keep going to work. Got it?" said the cop with his tired look but seems like he was warning him.
"Yes, I got it." Dae Ju replied and bowed towards him once more.
