Everything was set including the people embarking on the journey. Valeria didn't like the way her son looked at her as if she was annoying.
Walking up to him, Valeria squatted and placed an affectionate kiss on his forehead and he stared back at her when she broke the kiss. She wanted to go but he held her hand, surprising her.
"Mom, I want you to promise me something." Valeria was glad he finally wanted something from her.
"No matter how strong dad is, I still want you to take good care of him and watch over him for me." Valeria's eyes widened slightly as she stared back into Reginald's eyes.
"If that's what you want then I will be sure to keep to my promise," ready to go again, Reginald kissed Valeria at her cheek, Valeria froze and whipped her head at him in shock.
"Take care mom, I'll miss you."
