Chapter 3 - Outside Observation

As Alexander and Zachariah spent their lives causing destruction and mayhem, the protector of this reality had never stopped watching them. "To think, not one but two seeds of chaos born into my domain, and to these assholes at that. Luckily, I was able to find them while they were young and have a chance to remove them before potential problems arise."

Realities are categorized by the amount of chaos they can contain. The tiers of realities go from 0-bing a fledgling reality with no protector to a 10-being a fully mature reality that cannot contain anymore chaos. When a reality is growing it will organically produce more chaos, bestowing the seed to an individual destined for greatness. The organic chaos will slowly mature and turn into the reality protector. As the reality continues to grow, more chaos is produced and will begin to mature.

Protectors are unable to absorb the new chaos before it has matured fully and once it has matured, another reality protector is born. At that time the original protector and the new protector will become locked in battle as they attempt to devour one another. Once one of them has been devoured the reality and its protector will rise in tier and enter a dormant period as they acclimate to the increase in chaos. After the reality and its protector have acclimated the reality will begin its growth period again and begin to nurture a new chaos seed thus repeating the cycle.

Usually the protector who has been in existence longer is able to emerge victorious and grow in strength alongside their reality. But when multiple seeds of chaos are produced at the same time the risk of loosing the battle and being devoured by a new protector becomes almost certain. Their fate isn't sealed though because with the power granted to them as the protectors, they can banish new seeds of chaos before they mature if they are willing to harm their reality to continue their existence.

Chaos can be banished by cutting away the new growth of a reality and sending the seed of chaos to another reality allowing them to delay the coming of a new protector. But the seed of chaos is a big meal for other protectors because they can directly absorb chaos that comes from outside of their reality to raise their tiers.

Banishing seeds of chaos not only causes harm to one's own reality but could also invite another reality protector to invade after devouring the chaos that was just banished. The banished chaos acts as an entry key into the reality and a protector from a higher or possibly equal tier reality could decide to invade.

As the reality protector watched Alexander and Zachariah make their way to the golf course through a translucent mirror, he decided to stop delaying what he knew he had to do if he wanted to continue existing. Rising from his throne, he made his way over to a gigantic observatory to search for some place to dispose of the two seeds of chaos.

To banish them without repercussions he would need to find a reality that was not only lacking a protector but could accommodate two more seeds of chaos. Arguably making sure there was room for more chaos in the reality was more important than making sure there was no protector because if there was a protector, as long as they were a lower tier he didn't have to worry about them attempting to invade, but if the reality couldn't accommodate more chaos, a bridge would be formed between the two realities and they would start to devour one another whether they had protectors or not.

After searching for a while, he stumbled upon a reality that seemed too good to be true. Not only did the reality have room for more chaos but the protector was dead. The reality was currently stabilized at tier 9 and he couldn't imagine what could have happened to such a high tier protector to have died and not been devoured by another. Deciding that it had nothing to do with him and that he might not have another chance to banish the two assholes currently threatening his life he summoned his favorite messenger. A truck.

Extending his arm as far as possible behind him he braced to send the truck towards Alexander and Zachariah. After ensuring they would be unable to escape, he rotated his body throwing the truck as hard as he possibly could while yelling, "Go truck-kun!!!! Fuck their day up!"
