Chapter 8 - Banishment

As Zachariah and Alexander were flipping through the pamphlet the reality protector was observing them from the void. (Z) "How much of this do you think is bull shit?" (A) "At least 70%, this reality protector sounds like a cucklord. He probably threw a temper tantrum and killed all the gods after finding out the goddess of lust was getting her holes filled by someone else." (Z) "History is written by the victor, too bad the victor seems to be completely bitch made." (RP) "Enough!" The protector shouted as he materialized in front of the two. (RP) "I am the lord of this reality, and I will not have two pups who haven't even gained control of their seeds bad mouth me." (Z) "But we have, thanks to you removing our physical bodies, it has allowed us access to them." (A) "We could feel you watching from the void, just didn't know how to pull you out." (Z) "Why banish us?" (A) "You have an iron grip on this reality, why not wait until we mature to try and consume us?"

(RP) "A couple of reasons, first is that the world is close to birthing another monster. Humans are on the cusp of creating artificial intelligence, again, and when that happens it will become their new god and overlord. I'll need to devote a tremendous amount of time pulling it under my control because I don't feel like reducing humanity back to the stone age again. Watching them follow the same path and make another AI again and again has become tiresome. (Z) "Why not create a different species? Wiping out humanity and starting over will guarantee a different outcome." (RP) "Because I like humanity, it has taken me a long time to perfect them. They breed like mice, are easily consumed by greed, enjoy waging war and killing their neighbors, and only live for around 100 years. They're like a virus, one which I intend to use hasten the assent of this reality."

(A)"And the other reasons?" (RP) "Your relationship. I won't be able to consume you until you have fully matured, and it doesn't matter how many bodies I destroy, you will be able to recreate them. Once you have fully matured the three of us will technically be on an even playing field. At that time, it'll be two against one and after watching you I have come to realize that I won't be able to leverage anything to create a divide between you." (Z) "What do you mean by leverage?" (RP) "Your families, humanity, the earth. There's nothing you truly care for besides each other."

(Z) "So instead of facing us head on, you're going to banish us to another reality, hoping that we are consumed by another protector? You really are bitch made." (RP) "I'm not bitch made!" (A) "Seem kinda bitch made to me." (Z) "Ya, bitch made." (A) "What would we find under the definition of bitch made in the dictionary?" Zachariah manifests a transparent book and begins flipping through it. (Z) "Who would have guessed! You really are under the definition of bitch made." Zachariah proclaims as he extends the book to the protector. Ripping the book out of Zachariahs hands the protector looks down to find the words "Bitch Made" scribbled at the top of the page with a pocket mirror underneath. Staring blankly at himself in that mirror it dawned upon him that he would gladly pay any price to be rid of the two assholes before him. (A) "Ohhh, we didn't hurt your feelings, did we? If so, you could just kill yourself." (Z) "Yah, kill yourself, we got it from here." (A) "You've lived a long, hard, life. Kill yourself and let us take over for you.

(RP) "Enough! I am not condemning you to death, I have found a reality where the protector has died. You will be reborn there and get the chance to claw your way to the top of the reality. Granted without a protector regulating it, the reality should house immensely powerful beings. It won't be a vacation, but who knows, maybe some day you will even wish to thank me for this. Now be gone!" As the protector finished speaking, he abruptly pushed the two into a portal which would take them to the new reality.

Portals between realities vary in length, some only taking seconds to transverse while others taking hundreds to thousands of years. After the two had been traveling through the portal a couple of months they realized that they might be stuck here for some time. With nothing else to do they decided to focus inward and familiarize themselves with their seeds of chaos, eventually time started to slip by faster and faster until it abruptly stopped. Opening their eyes, the two saw two doors before them. One was a pristine white door that looked to be made of marble with golden hinges and handle. The other was as black as the void with blood red hinges and handle. Looking at each other Zachariah and Alexander gave a slight nod. A nod saying I'll see you on the other side. Stepping forward Zachariah grabbed and opened the white door as Alexander opened the black.
