Chapter 5 - Sin of interrupting

Adria's eyes shamelessly patrolled the curves of the body in front of him. From her powerful legs, and up the waist that acted as a slim but steady pillar to lift the abundance of the chest.

She turned her head to him revealing a face blessed with flawless features. She had almond-shaped eyes that complimented her thin nose and small lips on an oval face. It looked like her body enjoyed the transition to puberty but left her face with some of her cute baby features. Lastly, she had short shiny brunette hair.

"Hey, stupid!" She called to Adria. "Why didn't you move? Are you that desperate to die?"

"What do you mean, move!? I should move and miss the entrance of all that sweetness before my eyes?" His eyes scanned her once more, "Hmm! I must say, Emilia, you only become more beautiful every time I see you. How about we grab a bite at my place after this?"

"With you!? Eww! I rather grab that bite with a vampire."

"Come on now. Don't be like this. You know there was such a time when you were thrilled at such an offer. Where is that girl? Where is that baby face? I like her more?"

She looked at him with apparent anger in her eyes. "That girl is dead. And how many times have I told you not to call me Baby face." She pointed her big broad sword at his neck, "Do you want me to let you join her, or..."

*Whoosh*

A spine tail heading straight for her left side interrupted her. She flipped in the air barely dodging the attack. However, the tail pursued her in the air.

Adria relaxed a bit more in the comfort of the crushed car. He brought out a small silver bottle from his coat and enjoyed the taste of its alcohol content in its mouth while he admired the incredible flexibility Emilia displayed in the air.

She was like a nimble cat. Dodging the attacks that came for her regardless of the long, heavy broad sword in her hand. She landed perfectly on a car.

Her opponent was the vampire with the briefcase. She looked at it with a frown on her face.

Adria in the corner shook his head as he looked at the vampire, "Tsk tsk tsk. You are so done for!" he giggled lightly, "Interrupting this vixen when she was talking, is the same as shaking hands with the Grim Reaper's sickle."

Just then, the second vampire arrived behind her but Emilia did not so much as even give it a glance. Her focus was on that vampire with the briefcase.

The second vampire brought its claws on her, but before they could reach, she had disappeared from its reach. Her gaze lingered on the vampire with the briefcase.

With incredible speed, she attacked the vampire. She pulled her broad sword behind her. Her movements were sharp but that did not stop the beast from also lifting its big hand in a swipe against her advance.

Adria watched from the comfort of his car-crushed chair and shook his head in disappointment.

And he was right. For a person with extremely sharp reflexes like Emilia, such bold moves by the vampire were a disastrous mistake. All she did was sidestep slightly and when the big hand had passed and reached the ground, she flipped and landed on it. Running on its forearm, her broad sword went straight for a hack at its head.

*shuush*

However, by some stroke of luck, the beast was able to lean a bit to the side in time. Emilia's broad sword cut cleanly into its shoulder. Severing its arm from the rest of its body.

"Uhhh!" The beast cried in pain. But she was far from done with it. She waved her sword to the side in an attempt to cut horizontally.

As the saying went. Once bitten, twice shy.

Its powerful legs helped it leap away from her just in time. It took a few more jumps to extend the distance away from her. Its wound bathed the car park in its ugly black blood.

"See! I told you. Never interrupt Baby face." Adria commented as he took some more from his bottle.

Emilia pointed her broad sword at the vampire. Her eyes focused on it. And at first, its eyes were on her, but then she noticed it seemed distracted. She looked in the direction of its distraction. It was looking at the hand she had cut. To be more specific, it was looking at the briefcase that was still in the fingers of the cut hand.

Just then, the other vampire went straight for the suitcase. It picked it up and with a powerful jump, it landed on a building, running away into the distance. The vampire Emilia had her sword pointed at also turned away and ran in the opposite direction.

"Shit!" She cursed.

For a moment there, she did not know which of them to pursue. But then she remembered Adria was behind her. "Adria! Go for the one with the briefcase. I will take this one." She ran in the direction the beast with a bleeding hand had escaped.

But then she stopped in her tracks, she noticed something wrong. She turned behind and there the problem was.

Adria she had been talking to, was busy having a nap on the crushed car.

Behold, she held in the intense urge to hack out his head from his shoulder. She really could not believe that he had the guts to actually sleep in the middle of a vampire fight. But there he was with the divine ability to prove her wrong.

She thrust her sword into the ground by the side. Then she made a few stretches, especially with her legs. And when she was done, she jumped and gave him a resounding round horse kick that smashed his face into the car, curving the car even deeper into the ground.

"I am only going to say it one more time. Go after the other vampire. And if you don't come back with its head, Just know I am taking yours."

She picked up her broad sword and ran in the direction of the now one-armed vampire.
