[the skill [F-magic missile (1)] leveled up to level 2]
[congratulations on completing the 14th (and last) phase of the test, you gained +1 upgrade point]
[because u are the first to complete the test to the 14th phase u get the title [victor of the obelisk (A-grade)]]
This was quite a surprise for Oliver who never heard of this title, mainly because nobody ever completed the 14th phase.
----------------------------------
[victor of the obelisk (A-grade)]
Description: adds +2 growth to all stats.
----------------------------------
The effect of the title surprised Oliver even more, things that added growth where incredibly rare not to mention thins that added growth for all stats.
[because you have collected 14 upgrade points, your rewards will be as followed]
[archmage (S-grade)]
[ancient human (S-grade)]
After being overwhelmed with messages Oliver tried to calm himself down.
"ok Oliver calm down let's go outside first and look at our gains"
After Oliver left the obelisk, he saw it crumble and eventually disappear.
When he finally snapped out of his trans of what just happened he looked at his new gains.
----------------------------------
[archmage (S-grade)]
-all stats growth + 10
-Class specific stats growth + 15
-mana for casting decrease by 10%
-decreases spell casting time by 30% (not stackable)
----------------------------------
"it's a little bit of a shame that the casting time decrease isn't stackable, but o well it's still amazing"
----------------------------------
[ancient human (S-grade)]
-free attribute points per level + 10
-gain the exclusive passive skill [eyes of truth (S-grade)]
----------------------------------
"Even though 1 passive skill doesn't seem like much If you look at the skills and affinities something like the dragon rase gets at S-grade, its exactly what I am looking for"
----------------------------------
[eyes of truth (S-grade)]
Description: you can see through anything and anyone, also defends your mind form mental attacks S-grade and below.
----------------------------------
The skill description was quite vague but the jest of it is, is that it is a high level inspect skill that also blocks mental attack, that's quite handy because inspect skills are also categorized under the umbrella of mental attacks.
"O yea I almost forgot my skill also leveled up, I should take a look at that."
----------------------------------
[magic missile (F-grade) (2)]
Description: shoots a missile mad out of magic at your opponent at moderate speed that does (110+intelligence) damage.
Cast time:1 sec
Cost: 7 mana
LVL:2
----------------------------------
"It's a change that's almost not noticeable but that's what I expected from a [F-grade] skill."
The last thing he wanted to do is look at his new status screen, but before he could do that, he got another notification.
[congratulations Oliver Smith for completing the character creation part of the tutorial, you can now get rewards for slaying monsters and have gained the right to enter dungeons]
After that he opened his status.

When he could see everything that he had been working for he couldn't help but smile.
"This is it the perfect foundation."
When he thought of his future growth whit this foundation he couldn't help but grow more and more exited.
"oke oke calm down, that's at least most things I needed to do on earth done, the only important thing left is to get the only [S-grade] active skill on earth, but that's the reward for being the first to solo clear the only [S-grade] dungeon [Hell's paradise] but that's something I can only do when I grow stronger"
Now he was done here Oliver decided to leave, luckily for him after almost a week of everything being closed due to the sudden talent cart dropping, everything started to slowly open again, including the airports.
while he was waiting in the airport he was mostly meditating, but since he had been away from society for the last 2 weeks he decided to also eavesdrop a little here and there.
And what he heard was what he expected, even though it had been a week since everyone had gotten talent cards it was still the only thing they talked about.
He even took out he's phone to see if the news was also like this, and just like he expected the only thing different in the news is that there was nothing about the [obelisk] or the [SSS-grade] talent going missing.
"The first [S-grade] talent has been found and you won't believe its effects!!!"
"What is the future use of these talents???"
"does the grade of your talent decide your future in this new crazy world???"
All the headlines where amongst these lines.
Oliver suddenly thought of something while reading the headlines.
"The first [S-grade] talent, that should be Andrew Williams if I'm correct, and his talent should be [Sword soul (S-grade)]"
"It's a decent talent for a swordsman, its future growth potential is limited but it give you a massive initial power up, in my previous live he became very famous through this because he managed to get an extremely high grade class and race through the power up of his talent."
"How I recall it, he's family spent nearly 50 million on that card, everyone ridiculed them for paying such a high price, but those same people would be willing to pay 10x that for the same card in about a month."
"I don't exactly know what grade of race and class he had, but at most they should both be [A-grade] and that's already very unlikely."
After some more time looking trough articles and meditating he finally arrived at his destination, Berlin Germany, there is a big [E-grade] dungeon [goblins den] close to the city and since it is a main city it also contains a shop where you can buy: skills, items, etc. .
The first thing he did after landing was visit said shop, because the first customer gets one item totally for free, this sounds great until you realize that the shop doesn't sell anything above the [A-grade], the only way to get those things is to get extremely lucky in a dungeon or win an event of some sorts.
After searching for a while, he found an alleyway with a red and white tent entrance, he waisted no time and stepped inside where he was greeted by a friendly looking dwarf in a suit.
The dwarf looked delighted to see him and instantly spoke.
"Hello their dear customer, what can I help u with today?"
"yea I was wondering if I am the first to enter the shop here on earth."
"Yes, indeed you are but what's your point dear customer?"
Ugh these dwarfs are always so stingy, not even wanting to give me my reward, guess I'll have to ask him directly.
"isn't there a reward for being the first?"
"so, your only here for freebees?"
"the first obelisk opened a day ago, do you think I have any coins?"
"aright just take something and go, I don't need nonpaying customers!"
He started looking though the list of items, he already knew what he wanted, and a few minutes later he found it.
----------------------------------
[Ring of storage (A-grade)]
Description: can store up to 100 m^3 of non-living things, time doesn't flow inside, and it gives the wearer a +50% mana regen effect.
----------------------------------
This was the only thing he could think of, there are skills that would be helpful, but the only [A-grade] skill soled are attribute enhancement skills like [Strength enhancement (A-grade)].
He could come back for those later anyway but what he needed now was storage for all the items that would drop in the dungeon.
Now that that was sorted, he booked a hotel room and made his way to the dungeon.
The dungeon he was about to grind was the [Goblins den (E-grade)], perfect for grinding, a total of 10 floors with each around 50 goblins in groups of 4-5 with on the 10th floor a Hobgoblin, all of them being between LVL 3-10, he chose this dungeon because of the test of the obelisk, thanks to that he knew for sure he could defeat the boss.
He planned on grinding this dungeon to LVL 5-10 depending on were he started to slow down. The amount of EXP a monster gives is like this; every monster gives as much EXP as their LVL, so a LVL 15 monster gives 15 EXP but on top of that monsters of a higher grade have a multiplier witch is as following.
[S-grade] 7x multiplier
[A-grade] 6x multiplier
[B-grade] 5x multiplier
[C-grade] 4x multiplier
[D-grade] 3x multiplier
[E-grade] 2x multiplier
[F-grade] 1x multiplier
And bosses also give a 5x multiplier on top of that.
That's right, the higher-level monsters aren't always from a higher grade and vice versa, that's also a reason why Oliver chose the [Goblins den (E-grade)], the monsters are relatively low level for being [E-grade] so leveling up will be easier.
This whole system is also why people without powerful inspection skills, just like the one that was provided on the test of the obelisk, you couldn't see the grade of the monster with it, had to study monsters to know what grade each type was.
When Oliver arrived at the hilltop right outside Berlin, he could see a black circle that looked like it was made entirely out of energy with a blue text box above it [Goblins den (E-grade)].
The second Oliver stepped into the portal he got a pleasant surprise.
[congratulations Oliver Smith for being the first person to discover [Goblins den (E-grade)], as a reward you will get 5 free attribute points.]
