Done reminiscing, he swooped down resisting his instinctual urge to roar announcing his return home.
'Alina, do you know where the treasury here is?'
[There's a total of 12 of them, one for each royal lineage. Which one do you want?]
Zane remarked internally about the grandness of the saint dragon clan in his head for a moment.
'The one for my lineage then.'
A circle appeared in his vision highlighting a building in the distance.
He shot forward, landing in front of the building he was in awe.
The treasury was a giant grand luxurious temple. Even after years of no upkeep it still looks pristine.
He smiled and began channeling his bloodline. The gem above the gate lit up in response to this and the gate opened slowly causing the ground to quake.
The moment the gate opened a white light flashed and Zane disappeared from the spot, Aurora was also brought with him.
When he opened his eyes he found himself on a small to medium-sized island in the sky. A gate was behind him and Aurora.
About 100 meters in front of them a 3-story circular pavilion resided. The 1st story was the largest and had several hundred pedestals on it. On all these pedestals various treasures were hovering.
However, a man also sat on a throne, absorbing energy in the air. He exuded a saint dragon's bloodline aura. Furthermore, he exuded the aura of a 3rd divine realm spiritualist. This meant he had 3 domains!
The man opened his eyes.
"What are you doing here, young master? Why did you bring someone from another royal clan here?" The man asked calmly.
Zane was stunned.
"Y-You really don't know what's happened?"
The man had a curious look.
"What do you mean? I've been in isolation for 50 years trying to comprehend 9 different barriers to form my 4th domain."
Zane sighed.
"The clan is gone…"
The man's eyes widened before he relaxed.
"Nice joke, young master. Where is your mother?"
"Dead." Zane responded with a sigh.
The man frowned "You must be joking, your mother is a 9th divine realm spiritualist on the verge of becoming a Saint."
Zane shook his head, he just transferred his memories to the man, all of them except the most private ones in his past life. Saint Dragons can do this quite easily so long as it's with another saint dragon.
The man's eyes widened in stupor.
"I see… So both of you are from another world and caused the calamity to our clan… And they protected you both."
The man sighed.
When he opened his eyes he saw Zane was tense.
"Relax, I don't blame you. I blame the being behind you for not helping us since the heavens were clearly afraid of him or her."
[You think I can move freely? If I could, I would have already directly descended with my main body. But instead, I have to resort to leaving a mere Heroic soul fragment with him.] An ancient distorted voice sounded in Zane's and the mans head.
[Does that mean that Alina is this soul fragment?] Zane asked curiously.
[Yes, it could be said she's an alternative personality of mine, my lord.] The voice admitted.
Meanwhile, the dragon's eyes lit up in horror hearing the voice refer to Zane as 'My Lord'.
'His identity is absolutely not simple… If I can get on his good side, I might be able to surpass the Monarch realms in the future.'
The dragon decided to take a bet. Little did he know, this is exactly what the figure wanted.
"Young master, If I may. Considering I was unaware, there are probably other treasure guardians like myself that are still alive, unaware of the situation outside… With you and Aurora being the only 2 saint dragons confirmed alive. It wouldn't be hard to convince them to follow you. Although it's not enough to rebuild the saint dragon clan… It's a start."
The saint dragon clan before its destruction had 132 divine order spiritualists, 24 saints, 5 lord order spiritualists, 3 king order spiritualists and 2 exalt order spiritualists. Simply put, even on the 4 cardinal continents they were a force that couldn't be dismissed casually. As for the central continent, the 5th continent, that was another playing field altogether. Being a 3rd divine realm spiritualist is merely the bar for entrance there for individuals.
Zane nodded, that was his goal.
"I intend to go to the golden dragon ruins, they are opening in a week. After that's done then I'll begin to re-establish the saint dragon clan."
The dragon nodded happily hearing this.
"Well, since you and her are the last saint dragons alive besides us guardians, this treasury belongs to you."
Zane nodded. "Surely there's a treasure for cases like this to grant someone saint dragon bloodline?"
The guardian nodded "Yes, one second."
He closed his eyes and space fractured next to him as an item flew out. This was a scroll.
He handed the scroll to Zane with both hands in his human form.
"This is the clans' resurrection scroll left behind by the 2 founders. It can bestow anyone the bloodline of a saint dragon so long as the one using it is a saint dragon. Please, take good care of it, there are only 4 in existence."
Zane nodded.
"I'd like to see what kind of treasures are here if you don't mind."
"Follow me."
He showed him around the first floor. He stopped on a golden sword with a blue shine.
"The golden sky sword, the counterpart to a sword given to a clan of wyverns a few hundred years ago."
Zane nodded and brought out the golden earth sword, surprising the guardian.
When the golden earth sword was brought out the 2 swords resonated brilliantly and fused together melting down before reconstructing into one sword.
The guardian stroked the beard on his human form.
"I never knew that was a feature of the weapon."
Zane nodded "Neither did I."
The golden earth sword and golden sky sword had fused together, the previous impurities in them were removed as well.
A projection of a dragon head shot out of the gem implanted in the cross guard of the sword.
"If you are seeing this message, it means that these 2 swords have been reunited at long last. I am Mavrig, a 3rd divine realm forger for the saint dragon clan. I just wanted whoever sees this to know, that you are now holding an 8th exalted heavenly artifact. I purposefully put a flaw in the blades when I forged them because I didn't want either one to shine too brilliantly without the other. As a forger, it would pain me to see such a thing. So, please use them well."
The projection faded away after that.
"That old monster was always sensitive about his work… He was eccentric, to say the least."
Zane nodded, not paying any mind to it.
He just smiled looking at the new sword.
A sheath came flying from another pedestal nearby and the sheath slid over the sword.
Dragons more often than not use their human form out of convenience. The human form isn't the strongest, but it's the most versatile. Thus swords, spears, etc, are all used by dragons.
"That sheath in itself is a 1st profound heavenly artifact. It can repair whatever sword is sheathed inside it at an accelerated rate."
Zane nodded.
He looked to the side and noticed Aurora staring at a piece of jewelry with desire.
"Get it for her, please."
The man nodded and with a thought, the necklace flew down onto her neck. The violet crystal embedded in it lit up brightly.
"That necklace can enhance the density of one's spiritual energy by 10% passively while they are wearing it. It's a 1st monarch earth artifact, one of the few monarch artifacts on the 1st floor. She has good instincts. It pairs nicely with emperor Vladi's reverse scale and will allow her to use it for a bit longer."
Zane nodded with a smile. "You can recognize it?" He asked.
"My grandfather was the one who made it for that ancient warrior. Speaking of, how is that warrior?"
"About as good as a ghost can be." Zane replied.
The dragon sighed.
"He was betrayed by the other warriors and replaced. I intend to avenge him later."
The guardian nodded.
"Anyways, moving on, want to come to the 2nd floor?"
"Sure, I want to see if there are any life-saving treasures up there like Vladi's reverse scale."
"Vladi had 2 heads you know. So he has a 2nd reverse scale."
Zane sighed exasperatedly.
"So, I have to kill his other soul fragment as well."
The guardian stopped in stupor.
"What did you do to piss off Vladi?" The guardian couldn't help but ask.
"Nothing, he was the one who pissed me off and I had someone kill that fragment of his. You got a problem?"
The guardian shook his head. They walked to the 2nd floor and as expected, a scale shot forward and tried to attack Zane.
A black bolt of lightning shot down from the sky, not affecting the pavilion. It instantly killed the scales treasure spirit. This sent chills down the guardian's spine.
"Wasn't that a direct move?" The guardian muttered.
[No, it's not, I'm not gonna bother explaining it.] The voice from before spoke.
Zane merely picked up the scale, the same 9-colored light from before descended, this time it was a chibi drake with soft red skin.
"What exactly are these?"
[Heavenly spirits from worlds I've destroyed.] The voice replied.
This made the guardian choke on air for a moment in shock.
"So it's like the heaven of this world?" Zane asked.
[Yes, pretty much.]
The spirit bonded with the scale and the scale lit up before fusing into his forehead.
Zane smiled, this was enough for him but he still wanted to be safe. He grabbed a few more life-saving artifacts, such as a spatial ring, not to be confused with a spatial storage ring. This would allow him to teleport to any place he's been before within a range of 100 miles of his current position.
He looked at Aurora and sighed.
"I can't bring her with me to the ruins… I don't know what I would do if I lost her." Zane said looking at the guardian.
The guardian nodded "I'll take good care of her. I swear to the god behind you that I will not mistreat her, lest my soul be torn to shreds."
[Remember your words… Or you will regret it. Her life is worth more than this entire world as far as I'm concerned.] A voice echoed out.
With this, Zane could rest assured.
He told Aurora what was going on. Although she pouted, in the end, she agreed, rubbing her face against his sweetly.

A/N: As promised, 2 chaps! Spent 6 hours writing both of them due to all the redrafts I did with them... and they still didn't end up the best I'd say. Kept getting distracted. Anyways, we are about to start the golden dragon ruins arc! So let's get some hype going with some power stones, shall we?
As usual, comments, reviews, power stones, etc, are all highly appreciated.
P.S. WPC#300 is ending tomorrow, we are currently number 5 in power stones with a total of 90 power stones. 4th place has 100 as of me writing this (They might have more when this is published). So if we could get to 125 power stones that would be sweet. I know we can do it!
Also a small little note I will be pushing chapter release time's to 6pm instead of 3pm to give myself a little more time to work on each chapter without feeling stressed. Thanks for understanding!
