After resting at home for a few weeks, Yun Shu was finally well enough to come to work. The moment she stepped into the office, her co-worker, Qin Yi Yi walked over and announced that their boss, Zheng Lan, wanted to see her in her office.
With her slightly limp leg, Yun Shu headed to her boss's office and knocked on the door. Once she heard her boss's voice, Yun Shu pushed the door and entered.
Zheng Lan looked up and smiled. "Yun Shu, come over here and have a seat."
Yun Shu nodded politely. "Boss Zheng, good morning." She walked into the spacious office and finally took a seat.
"Yun Shu, is your legs not healed yet?" Zheng Lan asked as she looked at her subordinate's ankle. Although she could not see the bruise, Zheng Lan could guess that Yun Shu should be in pain just by the way she walked.
"It's recovering slowly," Yun Shu said. "The doctor said, it should be alright for me to walk around as long as I did not put on any stress on my ankle for too long. Boss Zheng, don't worry. I won't slow down the work around here."
As a wedding consultant in the wedding planner's agency, Yun Shu was required to move around and deal with a lot of things.
Although she had worked at Precious Moment Wedding Planner Agency for years, Yun Shu was still worried that she might lose her job with her injury. After all, she was not the only wedding consultant in the agency.
Zheng Lan seemed to understand Yun Shu's concern and sighed. "Alright, stop worrying too much. It was not as if I am going to replace you with your injury."
Yun Shu let out a breath of relief.
"The reason I called you to my office is that I am planning to let you handle two projects." Zheng Lan smiled amiably.
Hearing her boss's words, Yun Shu started to sit up straight.
"I know that you are working on Miss Xiao and Mr. Jiang's wedding which will be held in a couple of months." Zheng Lan scattered some documents and notes on her table before she paused again. "There's another wedding that I need you to take. They were planning to get married by the end of this year. I think you should have a lot of time planning their wedding."
There was still half a year before the wedding. Naturally, Yun Shu was glad to handle this wedding.
"The couple will come over and meet you this afternoon," Zheng Lan continued. "I already gave them your number. They should contact you later."
"This afternoon? Mmm... I got it." Yun Shu made a plan to clear her schedule.
"As for the other project..." Zheng Lan started to look for some papers on her table again. She finally found what she was looking for and pushed the documents across the table. "Here. Take it."
Yun Shu leaned over to take the documents. Her brow furrowed when she saw what was written on the paper. Yun Shu raised her head and looked at her boss in puzzlement.
Zheng Lan sighed. "A few weeks ago, a few of the madam contacted me and asked us to organize this blind date event." She raised her hands, motioning Yun Shu not to speak before she was done. "I know that our company did not usually deal with this kind of thing. However, I can't refuse the madam. She was persistent to let us do this event."
Yun Shu lowered her gaze to look at the documents again.
"But the good thing is, those who succeeded in this blind date event will have their marriage planned by our company." Zheng Lan shrugged. "I thought that this deal isn't that bad. Therefore, I agreed. Yun Shu, the event will be held at the end of this month. You have two weeks to start planning everything."
Her eyes widened in surprise. "Two weeks?"
There were a lot of things they needed to do. The venue to book, the food and drinks, and the participant... How can she do everything in two weeks? It doesn't make any sense, alright?
Moreover... it sounded like Zheng Lan knew about this arrangement earlier. Then, why didn't her boss let her know sooner so that she can start doing some research at home?
Yun Shu wanted to cry at this situation
"Now. Don't panic. I know that it's not going to be easy," Zheng Lan continued. "Therefore I will let you work with Wei Man to organize this event. You don't need to worry about the venue. The madam will provide us with the place. I already write down Madam Gao's number on that paper. You can talk to her and discuss this event."
Yun Shu flipped through the documents and saw Madam Gao's number.
"Yun Shu, you are the best at dealing with the madam," Zheng Lan said. "The last time you help to organize Miss Song and Mr. Lu's wedding, the madams seemed to have a good opinion of you. I think you will manage this event well."
After exchanging a few words with her boss, Yun Shu finally left the office.
She returned to her small office and her assistant, Shen Yan Mo entered her office. "Yun Shu, what did the boss tell you?"
Yun Shu was still looking at the documents that Zheng Lan handed her earlier.
Thinking that she will have to organize a blind date event was starting to give her a massive headache.
She only has two weeks! What can she do about it?
"Boss Zheng gave me another wedding to plan. The wedding is supposed to be held at the end of the year," Yun Shu said. "The couple will come to see us in the afternoon. Yan Mo, you come with me."
Shen Yan Mo nodded enthusiastically. "The wedding will be held at the end of the year, but Yun Shu, why is your face look bad?"
Yun Shu let out a long sigh. She massaged the space between her brow and spoke, "Boss Zheng wanted me to organize a blind date event."
"What?"
"We have two weeks to put everything together."
Shen Yan Mo's eyes widened. "What?"
