Looking at the crimson liquid sliding into his lips, Tara Summer tensed up, abruptly recalling the moment when he bit her neck. Subconsciously, she touched her scabbed neck and knitted her eyebrows together.
Liam Yancey lifted his devilishly charming face, his deep eyes sweeping over her, registering her caution, and his lips curled up slyly.
"Want to take a sip?" His rich, magnetic voice was exceptionally sexy, yet it made one's heart skip a beat.
She looked at the glass of wine held up to her, her brow furrowing more. Despite her confusion, she took the glass, lowered her head to smell it, her small sniffing movement resembling a kitten.
"Red wine?" Tara Summer raised her eyes to glare at him.
"Drink it." He withdrew his hand. How could her thoughts escape his eyes? Not human blood, and she seems disappointed!?
"Not interested." Tara Summer knew she had been played, she forcefully put the glass back on the table, she stared at him seriously, "Mr. Yancey, I don't know why you kidnapped me, but please, I beg you, take me home!"
"Kidnapped?" Liam Yancey frowned, his bewitching handsome face finally revealing some expressions. There was a glint in his eyes, he seemed to have heard a ridiculous word.
He smirked, his tall and robust figure leaning back into the leather chair. He raised a hand, and Fierce Eagle instantly handed him a slender cigar.
Liam Yancey took it, the silver lighter opened and closed between his slender fingers. He lit the cigar, inhaling deeply, surrounded by smoke, the flame flickering brightly and dimly, much like his deep and obscure eyes at the moment.
He stared at her, his hawk-like sharp eyes seemed to see through her heart. Tara Summer was so uneasy under his gaze that her mood became more frustrated.
"Liam Yancey!" She slammed the table and stood up, raging mad, "What the hell do you want!?"
She completely lost her senses, once she finished yelling, she felt hundreds of eyes from the balcony focused on her. Each set of eyes threatened to bore a hole into her.
The bodyguards and servants were all looking at her in shock; fear was evident in their eyes. Was this woman seeking death? She dared to curse the young master!?
Liam Yancey's eyes flickered, his handsome face darkening. His black eyes were wicked and devilish: "Tara Summer, I've told you, a woman who has seen my body only has one fate – death. Do you want to die? After you become my woman, I'll ensure you die swiftly!"
So tired of living, if it wasn't for her being the only woman who can come close to him without causing him disgust, he would have thrown her into the sea to feed the sharks.
Daring to scream like that at him, she's definitely the first one and will also be the last one!
"Who... who wants to be your woman?" The sinister look in his eyes and the murderous glares from the bodyguards around all added to the chill in Tara Summer's heart. Despite her fear, she bravely retorted, "Liam Yancey, don't think you're amazing just because you're rich and powerful. I don't want this! I don't want this! Get it into your head, I'd rather die than stay here!"
Saying that, she turned and bolted. The bodyguards wanted to stop her but were held back by a gesture from Liam Yancey.
"Let her run, send a few people to follow. If she dies, clean up after her." The man took a sip of red wine, his lazy voice laced with a touch of intoxication, deadly pleasing yet devoid of warmth.
"Yes." Fierce Eagle winked at the three bodyguards to his side, and they understood—bowed slightly towards Liam Yancey, and followed suit.
Tara Summer was running wildly around Villa House like a headless fly. The maids who saw her didn't stop her. Clearly, they've received instructions and even pointed the way out for her:
"Miss Summer, please turn left..."
"Miss Summer, go straight through the corridor."
