I had been drifting in and out of sleep by the time the sky had lightened. I was snuggled next to Alex and the sheets were on the floor. Alex's soft rumble told me he was still in a deep sleep. I smiled and then my smile faded when I heard a door shut. I looked at the door and shook my head and closed my eyes. The next thing I knew the bedroom door flew open. Three guys walked in, one was a tall muscular guy with sandy brown hair and pale green eyes, the other looked just like him only shorter and a little less muscular, and the other was tall and lean with bright blue eyes and bright blonde hair.
"Al... Whoa naked chick with the alpha." one said his eyes trailing over my body. I frantically looked for the sheet. When I could not find it, I growled.
"Stop staring at me!" I growled and glared at the three guys while grabbing for the sheet. Alex jerked awake at my growl. He sat up straight.
"GET OUT NOW!" he growled, and the three guys looked down at their feet and quickly retreated. He calmed down a little and he turned to face me "Are you ok babe?" his voice was full of worry.
"Hell no!" I growled. "Those three guys saw me. COMPLETELY NAKED!" I growled louder. He flinched and I sighed. "Alex....they saw..." I said with tears in my eyes. He rose quickly and grabbed a pair of PJ pants and he opened the door and stormed out. I heard him yell and then there was a loud crash. I jumped up and ran to the door. I jerked open the door and ran out of the room and found the stairs and flew down them. When I rounded the end of the stairs I crashed into a tall muscular figure. I stumbled backward and was about to fall when two strong hands caught me around my waist. I looked into the eyes of the man who had just caught me. His pale green eyes shined in the light. I narrowed my eyes and a low growl formed in my throat. I was about to growl when we heard a deep low growl coming from the kitchen doorway. We both looked to see Alex. He was glaring at the guy with his arms around me. The guy sat me upright and muttered something and left the house quickly. Alex was by my side the next second. I glared at him. He was smiling at me. SMILING, after what just happened. I growled.
"Kat you're in the sheets and nothing else." He chuckled. My face turned bright red and I was paralyzed. He scooped me up and carried me to his room. He sat me down on the bed and went to get in the shower.
"Alex, wait," I said getting up and the sheets fell to the floor. He stood there smiling at me. His eyes scanned my body, and I could see his pants rise a bit. I smiled and walked over to him slowly. "How about we shower together?" I asked in a sexy tone. Alex smiled and scooped me up for the second time today and carried me into the bathroom and turned on the shower. He opened the door to the shower for me and I stepped in, he followed closely behind me and pressed his body to mine. He gently kissed my neck and wrapped his arms around my waist and turned me to face him. The water slowly warmed up and I leaned back and let my hair get wet. I closed my eyes and sighed happily as the water ran down my slim body. When I looked up Alex was staring at me. I gave him a questioning look.
"You look so beautiful," he said and kissed my lips softly. I wrapped my arms around his neck and stood on my tiptoes. He pulled away and grabbed a bottle of shampoo and smiled. "Let me wash your hair." He said putting shampoo in his hand. I turned around and allowed him to wash my hair. We finished in the shower and I toweled off and looked at the clock.
"Alex, come on we are going to be late for school" I called as I quickly put jeans from last night and one of Alex's hoodies on. I pulled my hair into a ponytail and grabbed my flats. Alex came out of the bathroom fully dressed.
"Let's go." He smiled, grabbed his bag, and walked towards the door. Outside he walked to the truck parked in the driveway and opened my side of the truck and I hopped in. We drove in peaceful silence to the school.
