Days passed, and Evie stayed inside the cell. Indeed, she was better off when she hadn't planned that escape. But she managed to adjust.
She didn't live a luxurious life in Singapore, anyway. Her cell now was even larger than the small apartment that she was renting. And Joyce has been visiting her every day, so she wasn't that bored.
Evie could have devised another plan, since the window is too large that she could fit in if she could just break the bars. Which she believed she could, using the kitchen utensils that Joyce continues to give to her.
But because of the horrifying incident at the Gates of Edin, she decided to just calm down and plan on her next step meticulously.
As of now, she was still contemplating whether to accept being Hyouka or not, not wanting to be defeated by destiny.
