EVIE
Holding on to the cold sturdy bars behind her back, Evie stared at the little window that was almost near the ceiling of her cell.
She couldn't see anything but the clouds in the sky telling her that a cold front was about to come.
A deafening silence continued to fill her ears, which is becoming suffocating as time passed by.
Looking at the prisoners from a distance for the past few days made Evie wonder how the captives could live in this lonely place without dying.
But right now, what was bothering her was the Emperor's take on her.
'Is it enough reason for still offering me the Hyouka position in spite of what I did? I didn't know the rules yet?' her head tilted to the side as she pondered. 'And now that I knew about it and I decide to disregard the rules, there might be no chance for me anymore.'
