"Feng Gao, what do the Dragon's kingdom owe the pleasure of seeing you here?" King Wei asked.
He had heard about the young man's despicable behavior, but never thought of him as a bad individual. But just as a young child who is misunderstood and lonely in this world. His father never made the time to bond with him, and Wei felt that is why Gao is the way he is.
Li Wei is a man that easily forgives people, and always sees the best in them. So about two years ago, he decided to take Feng Gao under his wings. But the ruthless young man had decided, even after his father, General Feng Gi, kicked him out of their household. Ashamed from the disgrace he had placed upon their family name.
"Ah Lord Wei, the pleasure is all mine." He bowed to show his respect. According to him, he was all better and healed nicely when Wei offered to heal his wound. He was done pretending. He had used Li Jie to gain access to the inside of the palace. Now he needs a new plan to begin phase two. He can't let Fong Woo down, and furthermore. Even though he hates to admit it, he is somewhat afraid of him. The man is a lunatic, and he saw what he can do, and what kind of horrendous things he does to people who crossed him or betrayed him.
"I was just passing through and decided to come and visit. But I guess you want nothing to do with me after hearing about the dishonored things I have done. Even Li Jie used it against me earlier in our brawl." Feng Gao puts on his best acting face as a sad and lonely man, shunned from this world. "I only hope in my other life, I will be the kind and honorable man everyone wants me to be.
Feng Gao was many things, but a deciever was definitely one of his most skilled traits. And with that skill of his and Wei's kind but naive heart, Feng Gao easily had him wrapped around his little finger.
"Ah, hh, nonsense my dear boy. I would never see you any different, remember that I always considered you like my own flesh and blood." Wei, pat him on the shoulder. "Come, let's have some longjing tea and catch up on the times we have missed." Gao smiled at Li Wei words, but it quickly turned into a sinster one when Wei turned his back. Instructing a serving girl to bring them a pot of longjing tea.
"Come, let us go to the garden. It is such a fair day to stay locked up inside." Feng Gao nodded, motioning for Li Wei to take the lead.
'You naive old fool.' Gao laughed in his head, as he mentally cackle like the betrayer he is.
In Dragon flower Garden
"I haven't had a cup of longjing tea in a long while." Gao said, puring himself a cup, and sip at the hot liquid. He closed his eyes in delight, as he server the taste.
Meanwhile, Kai and Shui were having a little sparing match a few feet away from where Li Wei and Feng Gao was. It was an idea that Qing yuan got after demonstrating some moves, so that they could spar to see where Li Jen, aka Kai was at. Kai was a bit scared because he had never learned martial arts before. And that could be a problem, but when Shui aim a high kick at him and he dodge it with moves that he didn't know that he has.
Shui looked at him with amazement, but a bit suspicious in his eyes. He wondered how come she is so skillful, and yet she wanted help from him. But he was highly impressed, from how fast she could dodge his hits. She had moved like she wasn't even a Mage, but more as a beginner Prospector.
"Sh- I mean Qing yuan,
"Hmm?"
"Can you teach me something more advanced?"
Qing yuan looked at him for a bit, before grabbing his sword and advance at Kai swifter than he could blink an eye. It was as if time had slowed down, when Kai instinct kicked into action. He swiftly moved to the side, out of the way of Qing yuan's sword which still had its sheath on it.
Qing yuan spun around on one foot, swiping his other underneath Kai's own two feet. Trying to get him unbalanced and fall. But what surprised him and got him stunned, was when Kai grabbed one of the staff they were using, and jumped up in the air. Float a bit, maybe from shock of the bizarre events happening, before charging down at full speed in a wonder of beauty. The early morning glow of the sun brings out a ray of colours around him, making him magical. Hitting the staff against Qing yuan's sword hard, ricochet a massive energy wave. Sending Qing yuan sliding on his back, across the training ground.
The impact of the energy wave against the swords was so strong that it created a ripple among the flowers
which caught Feng Gao's wandering eyes.
King Li Wei followed his gaze, and smiled proudly. Unaware of Feng Gao's bad intentions.
"Ah Li Jen and prince Qing yuan. They have been out there since dawn.
'Oh, so that is Li Jen. My my my, how she has grown. For a second there, I was lost by her beauty. But those moves, not of a Mage's standard, but more of something powerful.' Gao scratched the little stubble that started to sprung due to him traveling for a few days. 'But isn't that young prince the son of king Huang Bao, who is one of the heads of the Prospector's council and also who killed Woo's father? So, what is he doing here with her?'
"They are going to make the best marital couple the cultivation world has ever seen." Li Wei beamed, not taking his eyes off the young couple.
"What did you say just now?" Gao uses his pinky to rub his eardrum to see if he heard correctly.
"Oh yes, Li Jen and Qing yuan are going to be married. I was going to send you an invitation, but you are already here. So why not give you a personal invite."
'Married huh, now this got a whole lot interesting.
