Doris bulging eyes were wide upon. She was temporarily numb. She gently placed kai's head on the pillow as she left the room.
Doris went outside the house and stood at the balcony as the breeze blew her hair backwards. Her eyes were staring directly to the moon reading something from it.
"You haven't slept?" Melissa startled Doris. Doris nodded.
"I don't feel sleepy yet" Doris hugged herself.
"Is Kai asleep?"
"Hmm" She nodded.
"How do you feel towards my son?" Melissa brought out a topic. Doris was rendered speechless. She didn't know. She doesn't know.
"Excuse me?" Doris apprehensively uttered. Melissa laughed.
"Its okay tho. I'm not forcing you to love him or hate him. I just want to know if anyone apart from me loves my son the way I do. I know it's Impossible to love him due to some circumstances but I hope someone eventually does and I want that person to be you and nobody else" Melissa feigned a smile even if her voice were filled with despondent.
Only if Kai could fine some one who loves him apart from his Mother, he would still have hope from the curse nature brought upon him. Living a life full of hatred and isolation is better off dead.
"Please make Kai happy. Pls love him even for once. I beg you" Melissa prayed inside her as she stared at Doris.
Doris heard her mind loud and clear. She averted her gaze from Melissa back to the moon as she began to study it again.
"Good night" Melissa hopelessly left. Doris didn't utter a word. Her purple eyes remained in the moon.

(Next Morning)
Kai was shirtless as he came out from the bathroom. Doris stared at him as he cleaned his upper body.
"Can I help you comb your hair?' Doris offered. Kai nodded and Doris stood up from the bed and approached him.
Kai sat in front of the mirror as Doris combed his long hair gently.
"Done" Doris smiled.
"Thanks" Kai said as he went to his wardrobe and took his cloth.
"Are you going out?" Doris asked him. Her lip formed a straight line.
"Yes" Kai simply said. Doris thought about the next thing to do.
Kai walked towards the door but Doris stopped him. She stood before him.
"That's rude love, this is not the way to leave your wife when you are going out. I will forgive you today but not tomorrow" Doris Hugged him and gave him a kiss on his lip. Kai froze as he looked at his Little Dove.
"Goodbye and take care" Doris said with a smile and the statue Kai turned and left.
Doris hastily ran to the bed and rolled back and forth.
"It suits me right? Being a good wife!! Oh geez, I'mma good actress" Doris rolled and accidentally bumped on the floor.
"Ouch!!" Doris pouted.
"I'm a good wife!" Doris chanted excitingly. She rolled again on the floor continuously.

Kai thought were in chaos, he couldn't believe what Doris just did and said to him. Leon approached him as he bowed down.
"Your Highness" Leon bowed
"How's the witch armies that my mother brought for us?" Kai asked Leon.
"They are very good Your Highness" Leon lauded
"I want to watch them myself" Kai suggested. He wanted to keep himself busy from thinking about Doris.
"Okay Your Majesty. Will Her highness guards join the war?" Leon questioned. He couldn't help but feel uneasy when those two big heads were doing nothing about the war. They even mocked him.
"No. I want them to protect my mom and wife. They won't join" Kai sedately said and Leon placed his palm on his face feeling upset.
"Why? is there a problem?" Kai inquired.
"No, they are just so useless. They are.... nevermind Your Highness" Leon bowed and Kai smiled.
"Her highness gave them that freedom. I can't do anything even if I want because they aren't working for me" Kai explained. Leon breathed in and them sighed.
"I will excort you the witches" Leon changed the topic because he was damn upset. Those two weren't giving him peace as they always insulted him especially when conducting a fight practice.
Kai and leon left.
