The clashing of swords became intense. Kai's men were reducing as they were being killed by the enemy. Kai was out of control as watched his men afar from a high cliff. He was patiently waiting for Lincoln and Matthais to show themselves. He couldn't low himself fighting his troops, he wanted to fight them himself.
Leon appeared behind Kai.
"This is a bad sign" Kai said lowly as he turned towards Leon.
"I've instructed them to use their magic, Your highness" Leon informed.
"I think that's the best option. I didn't want them to use their magic because of destruction but I guess that that's the only option we have" Kai said coldly as he menacing looked at the blood shed battle.
"Matthais has destroyed Alvatonia. Nobody survived the tribulation." Leon said and Kai eyes widened.
"What?" Kai uttered. He couldn't catch his breath.
"Yes Your Highness, Her highness Mother, Mrs Leticia is dead!" Leon said slowly. Kai stumbled backwards.
"Sorry for the loss" Leon bowed and Kai punched him hard.
"Sorry? What are am I suppose tell Doris now? What will she say about this? Just because I want the throne, her mother had to die because off this! I'm doomed" Kai yelled out in anger and frustration. Leon fell on the fall doing an act of bow.
"I'm sorry about this, Your Highness. According to the traveller, Matthais and Lincoln plan to kill and destroy everything you have and make Her highness their mistress. This war we are having now isn't the real one, Matthias and Lincoln are just testing us. They wouldn't come this night" Leon reported and Kai laughed sarcastically.
"Really? Make my wife their mistress? Kill and destroy everything I have? Testing us? They are really smart." Kai laughed as he spined himself around.
"Haha" His laugh was filled with anger, sadness and frustration.
"Will anyone become our ally?" Kai suddenly asked.
"No, Your Highness. Lincoln and Matthais as spread rumors about you. Nobody is willing to help you. People has always hated you from the start." Leon said as he bit his lower lip. His purple eyes were filled with fear and sadness.
"Really? That's great. I never expected anything less. Why are you working for me anyway? You live will be in danger because our probability of winning this war is low. Run away while you still have time. Go and save your family and yourself" Kai turned his back against him and Leon immediately stood up
"I will serve you to the end, Your Highness. You don't have to give up now, you have to win this war for your wife, mother and us. Pls, don't back down now" Leon said tearfully. This was the first time he was emotional. Everybody knew him as someone with no conscience but here he was.
"Leon?" Kai muttered.
"My family is long gone and I will never regret ever serving you even in my grave. I will never hate you! Never! " Leon said honestly. Kai smiled.
"I will never fail you Leon and after this war, I will try my best to surprise you" Kai said firmity. Leon nodded.
"We have to do this together, Your Highness. I will always be there for you." Leon bowed and Kai felt proud. He never knew that someone still has affection towards him. He smiled passionately.

"Argh....Ahhh" Doris shut her eyes opened as she panted hard. Her eyes searched around, hoping she was save. Doris heaved a sigh.
"Nightmare?" Melissa asked and Doris averted her gaze towards her.
"Yes, something's coming in my dream and Anytime I try to remember, I just can't. Two things!" Doris pulled her head in frustration.
"Don't hurt yourself. I'm sorry for what I did earlier" Melissa apologized as she gave Doris a warm tea.
"Earlier? What..." Everything began to play in her memory. She remembered when she talked rudely towards Melissa.
"I'm the one that is suppose to apologize. I'm sorry for my attitude" Doris bowed to Melissa.
"I can't blame you buy the spirit in you. There's something in you that wants to reveal itself but something I stopping it ans that's why you don't know who exactly are you." Melissa explained.
"How come you know about this?' Doris asked her.
"We witches practice ancestral magic. Magic done outside our kingdom wouldn't be as certifying and revealing than the one done here" Melissa explained.
"I tried to fathom what's going on with you but I can't get a glimpse" Melissa slightly said.
"About Kai, what's going to happen to him?" Melissa quickly asked as soon as she remembered. Doris avoid eye contact with Melissa. She slowly drank the tea.
"Image of death keeps appearing. Something needs to be done! He is loosing strength" Doris instantly said and Melissa looked confused.
"Have you ever seen him drink blood?" Melissa quickly asked.
"It's been very long. That's the day of the royal ball" Doris replied.
"It's been long but he can't affect him. I will embark on a journey this night. I have something to do. You will stay here with Amy and your guards" Melissa said and Doris gaped.
"Lucas and Gideon are here?" Doris smiled.
"Hmm" Melissa nodded and she left Doris alone in the room. Finally, she wasn't going to be alone in this foreign land. Her guards are here with her.
Doris left the room, she realized that she was in a palace. Her eyes caught sight of Gideon and Lucas laughing as they talked to some girls.
"Witches are indeed very alluring and beautiful" Doris commended as she walked down the stairs.
She saw Melissa taking to some guards and chiefs. It was obvious that she is the ruler of the W Kingdom. Her subjects respected her and didn't object when she gave them order.
"Hi" A voice startled Doris.
"Oh... Hello" Doris greeted back with a smile as her attention went back to Melissa.
"You look so much like my Sis" Amy smiled and Doris raised a brow.
"Sis? She's your sister?" Doris asked and Amy grinned.
"Not biological sis but she is definitely my sister." Amy smiled.
"Oh.."Doris mouth formed 'o'.
"I'm Amy and you?" Amy introduced herself.
"I'm Doris" Doris simply said with a smile.
" You have a gentle face but you aura feels dangerous. I'm sure you'd be more powerful than her" Amy said and Doris smiled.
"I don't know bout that because I'm not a witch" Doris said and Amy looked at her confusedly.
"I knew it! Your aura is damn killing but welcoming at the same time. I know you aren't a witch and a Vampire. So, what are you? An alien? Zombie? Demon?" Amy laughed at her suggestions but Doris didn't reply, she averted her gaze somewhere else.
