Detective Miller had not seen the twist coming and when he did, he was filled with a sudden dread and hatred for Dr. Griffin. How he had managed to overshadow his intelligence up till this point was beyond him, but he was sure of one thing now. Dr. Griffin had everything to do with the recent happenings at Living Spring Hospital. And now, he was doing everything within his powers to cover up his tracks.
Dr. Griffin had a twisted smile on his face, a smile that seemed to dissolve into something more evil by the second. Detective Miller hated the sight of his face at that moment. He shifted slowly in his seat and rose from it, his eyes never leaving the faces of the police officers that had now joined them.
"What is the meaning of this?!" Detective Miller asked, all the veins in his neck standing on end. "Is this a sick joke or something?"
Dr. Griffin was still smiling.
