Vanessa Winthrop emerged slowly into full view. She was wearing a floral gown that went well over her knees and held a plain Channel bag in her right hand. Her left hand held a bunch of keys that looked fairly old.
She looked elegant and classy, the kind of woman that could distract even the men at The White House if she were ever to walk in dressed this way.
She told for a long moment gazing at them, her expression wrought with confusion. The two men stared back at her. They seemed lost in the moment.
For Travis, it was more of the admiration he felt for this woman whom he had decided the rest of the life he had been gifted to serving. And for Detective Hanson, it was more in shock at her elegance and beauty which surpassed everything he had ever about her seen on the television.
He had imagined that she was beautiful, but certainly, not this beautiful.
