While he waited, the air hissed around him as if taunting him for his inability to understand what was going on. Surprisingly, Oliver did not look even in the least surprised. He looked almost relaxed with a knowing look on his face like he perfectly understood what was going on.
"Uhhh," He said after a long pause. "I guess you can come in."
Detective Miller jumped in. "I understand that you're not married, Oliver," He said eying him skeptically. "So, how come you have a baby in your house? Where's the mother?"
Oliver made a face. "The baby is my nephew and the mother is right inside with him. Maybe if you'd come in and stop asking all these questions, you could actually get to meet her."
Detective Miller and Cooper exchanged puzzled looks. Something was not right.
"Your nephew?" They asked in unison.
"Yes," Oliver agreed sharply. "That's Cole's son. His wife put to birth two days ago and well, I'm the only close family member left."
