Isabella Cooper stood motionless staring down at her lit phone screen which she held in her hand. Somehow, she'd convinced Dr. Sanchez that she was now on his side and consequently, some of the rules of the laboratory were beginning to bend in her favor such as the rule of not using a phone while on duty.
The current patient whom they were working on was an adult male American. He was much younger than their last patient who had been returned to where she was brought from. He had the name tag 'Terrence McGregor' when he was brought in.
Isabella had estimated from looking at his face and features that he could not be more than thirty. According to their routine, they had sedated him and kept him unconscious for the entire thirty-six hours that he had been there while they tried to determine his blood type, immunity level, and other relevant details about his health status.
