Detective Miller arrived at a mad scene in the hospital. Police cars were parked askew and their lights blinked in all directions in the vicinity. He looked around, stunned, not knowing where to begin from to search for clues.
Detective Cooper was by his side equally dazed by the scene she was looking at. The blaring sound of the siren from the waiting ambulance filled the air. She could smell danger lurking around.
Just as they were making their way to the door, two men rushed past them. They were rolling a wounded woman on a stretcher and they were heading to the ambulance. They both yelled commands at each other as they arrived at the back of the ambulance.
Detective Miller began to approach the front door, his heart racing. What the hell was happening? Detective Cooper followed behind him like a loyal dog, picking up the scents he did not want his master to miss.
