The door had opened right after the announcement and they both walked in with their arms linked, smiling at each other.
"Violet!"
They were staring into each other's eyes as Vincent thanked everyone for coming to the fundraisers.
"Violet! Blink!"
Then they kissed.
It was barely a peck but their lips had touched and I heard my heart break.
"Fuck, Violet!" I felt an impact on my head and the scene in front of me disintegrated, revealing a worried Chase. "You scared me, why were you not responding?"
I looked around at my surroundings, confused. I was sitting on the bathroom floor with Chase squatting in front of me, a bottle of water in his hand as concern flickered in his eyes.
"What are we doing here?" I murmured, trying to stand up using the counter.
