It had been a few days since I crept into his room but the conversation still keeps ringing in my head as if we had it just a moment ago.
"Violet? You keep getting lost in your thoughts again, why don't we stop here today." Vincent laughed gruffly, closing the file opened in front of us. Weirdly enough, we had grown closer since he shot the last member of that cursed family. "Actually I wanted to talk to you about something else other than business."
I raised my head in sudden interest, anything to get my mind off of him, "What's that?"
"Well actually, it's more of a showing thing than a telling thing." He got up from his sofa seat and rummaged through his cupboard, finally lifting out an old album. He walked up to me and placed it on my lap. "Look through it."
