[Violet's POV]
Red tainted the seat cushions as the man with a burning hole in his head, hunched over the conference table.
"Dad? Dad! No, dad!" Icarus jumped off his seat, rushing to the dead body of his father while the rest of us stood in shock at the unexpected casualty.
Except Vincent.
Without wasting a second, he had already fired his gun at the man that was already running for the door, which was considerably weird. How could he possibly escape when he pulled a stupid stunt inside Vincent's own territory.
Icarus let out an agonizing scream, clenching his fists as he glared at my father, "What the fuck did you do?"
"I will warn you to mind your language." Vincent spoke coldly, his eyes flickering to the rest of the members that still sat at the table, eyeing the hunched over body as blood trickled on the table. "Daniel escort everyone out, including Violet." He ordered loudly as he took a cautious step towards the grieving son, who held the hand of his father gently.
