Violet's POV
"You lost. What do I get?" I jumped up and down on the cliff.
He gave me a withering look as he reached me, "You cheated, Violet."
"The point is winning and I won, didn't I?" I patted his cheek, pasting on a fake pitiful smile. He grabbed my hand, giving me a charming smile, "Yeah, you won." Turning away from his heated gaze, I stared in front. It was already night, the day is over. Our time together is almost over. I rocked our hands back and forth, ignoring the exhilarating sensation passing through my veins.
"This is the worst." I remarked, staring into the darkness.
"Totally."
"Holding hands is so lame."
"Exactly." I could hear his smile as his grip tightened on me.
We lied down on the soft grass, his hand never leaving mine. Not that I wanted it to. I liked the feeling of warmth that bloomed in the pit of my stomach. A sheet of stars shone above us and I raised my left hand as if to catch them.
"They are so pretty, I just want to put one in my pocket."
