It's been about an hour since I had been listening to the girl infront of me talk.
She just won't stop.
"...and the day I found out, I was like ' Dad! you've to get her back.' I mean it was so cool to have a baby sister but he was like ' No, I don't want to disrupt her life', like come on man, seriously. I knew he was-"
I almost let out a sigh a relief when the 'express train' was interrupted by the ringing of my phone. I got up from beside her, flashing her a small apologetic smile, "Sorry, it's important. I will be right back." Or probably not. I slipped out of the room quickly as I answered the call.
"Hello?"
"Violet! Why were you not answering my call?" Ash complained from the other side.
"I was with my...sister?"
"Your what?!"
"We will talk about that later. What is it?" I asked immediately dismissing the uncomfortable subject.
"I need a favor." I don't like the sound of that.
Scrunching my brows, I spoke into the phone, "What?"
"Can you talk to Hunter about-"
