'Ding! Ding!'
The sound of the bells rang out and Theo was rudely awakened from sleep. He groaned as he stuffed a pillow over his head. However, the ball of cotton was useless in blocking the noises.
'Those bells only ring for special occasions,' he thought.
Immediately, Theo was up and out of bed. He couldn't fathom how he had forgotten what today was.
A slight knock vibrated through the door and he paused for a second before opening it. Two small women greeted him. "Good morning Alpha. We're here to help you prepare."
"Come in." Theo nodded and allowed them inside.
They entered and he closed the door behind them. He knew, in spirit, what their roles were, but he didn't think he needed two people to help him get dressed.
"I have an idea of what this entails but I'm sure that I can dress myself."
"We aren't just here to help you dress. There's more to this process and we have to be here to ensure that it is completed safely."
