We sat there in a slightly awkward silence, trying to figure out what to say. It felt good being around Jack again, I just didn't know how to begin. 'Hi, I've been having these crazy ass dreams, but I don't think they are dreams, and it all comes in riddles and i need help deciphering them.' I laughed internally rolling my eyes at the stupid thought.
"So, you need my help figuring out your dreams/not dreams?" he asked me. My cheeks automatically turning read not realizing I said that out loud. I sighed, turning completely in my chair facing him, no point in hiding now. I nodded slowly.
"Yeah, it's really weird actually. It started the night before last. I had another one last night. It's about this beautiful woman that calls herself 'Diana' and she's the "moon goddess" and went into little detail about who she was. There is also this beautiful red and white horse with crystal blue eyes that I can see, but not touch. She said I had to complete something before I could touch her. when I asked what she was talking about, all she said was she couldn't tell me and that I had to trust someone. My guess is, that someone, is you. Thats why I asked you here today. I also get to see my mom in these 'dreams' that I have and it's like she's actually there and not just in a dream." I paused to see if he was following.
"Did you just say, 'moon goddess'?" is all he said. I nodded at him, and he furrowed his brows in deep thought. "This is not the place to have this conversation, Princess." he said standing up.
"Why not?" I asked standing up with him noticing several people looking in our direction. "Do you trust me?" he asked holding out his hand. My body instinctively reached out for his hand before I could even think. We walked out of the café, and towards a very expensive looking car and he held the door open for me to get in. He soon got to his seat and began driving away to some unknown area. The scary thing is, I wasn't scared to be leaving with him, it felt completely normal.

After about 20 minutes of driving, we pulled up to a beautiful cabin in the middle of nowhere, looking at my surroundings, Jack came and opened the door for me so i could get out, "Where are we?" I asked. "This is my hideout. I come here when I need a break from work. I nodded. We walked up to the beautiful cabin and sat on the porch swing, "What all do you know? What did you learn from these dreams." he asked after we got comfortable.
"Not much honestly. I told them about you the first day we met, how you had grabbed me and said what you did," I saw him look down at his hands, "And Diana said to trust you, and that you would never hurt me. I also told her what I felt when you did grab my wrist that day. She said if I stay on the path I'm going, I have a bright future ahead of me, but if I don't go down the right path, I lose everything. And the horse I told you about, she said I can't touch it or anything until I fulfill a something."
He looks at me when I finished my rant, "And she didn't tell you anything by what I said to you or anything?" he asked. I shook my head. He sighed, "please don't feel scared. I swear on everything I will never hurt you." he looked in my eyes pleadingly. I looked at him in confusion, but slowly nodding as he stood up. He walked off the deck and in the blink of an eye, a beautiful orange colored wolf stood where he once stood. I immediately froze. I didn't know if i should scream, run, pet him, stay here, or anything. I couldn't move, my jaw dropped to the floor in shock.
After about 30 minutes of just staring at him, I finally got the courage to stand up and walk to him. The whole time i was frozen, he didn't move a muscle. my guess is he didn't want to rush anything. He wanted me to take my time and warm up to him, which I'm grateful for. I slowly made my way down the stairs until I stood in front of him. The wolf lowered his head and whimpered slightly, showing a sign that he wasn't going to hurt me.
I slowly reached up my hand, waiting for him to make his next move. Slowly he lifted his head and touched my hand. Sparks ignited through my whole body. I let out a breath I had no idea I was holding. He looked at me, reading my face of any sign of fear. I wasn't scared of him. I was in Awe. He was beautiful.
After he knew, I wasn't going to run away, the wolf went to the side of the house. A couple minutes later, Jack walked back to where I was, watching my every move. I couldn't speak. I couldn't move. I was in shock.
"I didn't want you finding out that way. I can answer all of your questions, as long as your up for it." he said before I could open my mouth.
My mind was blank. I did a lot of research on werewolves when I was a kid. It all is coming together, his possessiveness, the way he growled at me, the sparks, the constant need to be around him, the most amazing scent of Honeysuckle every time he came around. It's all there.
"Almost all my questions are now answered. She was talking about you. The whole time, you are the right path. But what am I supposed to accomplish, and for what?" I asked, not expecting him to answer since I was talking to myself more than him.
He sighs before finally speaking up, "I am. You need to accept me as your mate. But I can't tell you what for." I looked at him as my breath caught in my lunges. "The Moon Goddess, aka Diana, is our god. She calls the shots, she picks who our mates are. She is the most important thing in the world to wolves."
I nodded my head, not saying a word. "Take your time Princess. Whatever happens after the mission, it can wait, but if you need time to think, or if you want time to get to know me better, then so be it. Ill wait a whole lifetime for you."
I nodded again, "I want to get to know you better." I finally blurted out. A soft smile formed over his lips.
