That evening Belle went to the fire station to talk to Nic about him and Gabie, so when she was passing by Alex office she saw him making out with Clair and she was just shocked to see them together even though she knew that they where dating it's still hurt her to see them this way, she saw the way Alex looked at her but she turned around. She decided to turn around and look for Nic so she can forget what she just saw but one arm stopped her on her place.
"What the hell are you doing here Belle? You know that I told you not to come here anymore? And plus, are you a pervert or what?" Alex told her while holding her arm.
" I'm not a pervert Alex, it's not my fault that you were horny and didn't take your girlfriend home to make out with her. And about me doing here? Well from what I remember my cousin is working here with you also, so excuse me I'm going to look for him!" Belle was trying to hold her self up and not cry in front of Alex and let him know that just seeing him making out with Clair it hurt her a lot.
"Well I don't care! I don't want you come here any more! If you want to see Nic let one of the just call him out to talk to you because I don't want to see you in this station, ever!" Alex told her and pointed her toward the exit. Belle was disappointed with him and turned around and left the station without talking to Nic.
Belle went home upset at Alex for the way he treats her ever since he met Clair.
She sat at couch and started to cry because of the words he told her and for what she just saw at his office. A few moments later there was a knock at her door and she went to open the door, at the front was her cousin Nic so she just hugged him and began to cry even harder.
" I'm sorry you got hurt by his words again pumpkin, you should stop hurting yourself like that because of your feeling toward him, you should try to forget and just move on maybe it won't hurt any more" Nic was trying to comfort his cousin because he knew what she felt toward Alex and knew it was a one sided love from her side.
"I don't know if I ever accomplish it, but I'll try. You right Nic, if I continue like that it will not end good." Belle stopped crying and thought it was the best for her, if this love was doomed from the start then it will never bloom.
At the next morning Belle decided no to go to work and lied for the first time to the chief and told him that she is sick and decided to stay home and organize her thoughts and feelings toward Alex. If you continue like that she knows that it will only kill her little by little, so she decided to chance her self and stop being the person that every one saw and be the person she was always were, the tough one that always says what was in her mind and never shut up from what she wants to say.
After 2 hours her door rang, so she went to answer and saw her best friend at the front door with a worried face.
"Come in Gabie, I'm fine. I just decided to take one day off to organize my thoughts and feelings, and it's good that you came because I'm going back to the way I was few years ago." Belle assured Gabie and calmed her down.
"Thank god, because you scared me when you didn't came to the station today. I'm so happy for you babe! I'll help you!" Gabie was so happy that her best friend finally was releasing her true self from the dark it was locked!
Gabie and Belle sat down on the couch and just talked for few hours about Belle's plans and clothing and every thing in between.
"What are you going to do about the police station?" Gabie asked her
"What do you mean? I'm not going to let them depress me any more. I will show them whose daughter I was and who was my dad!" Belle will let them know that she is like her late father and investigate her parents death without them knowing, plus Gabie and Nic will help her with it because they loved them as much as she!
