Nic and Gabie spend a few hours with Belle, and she is grateful for them because she knows that they are the only people she has right now in her life. "So, Gabie, what are you going to do later?" After eating her dinner, Belle moved to the living room and guided her friend to sit down with her.
"We don't know yet, and maybe we will go to a coffee shop to eat something sweet." Gabie was telling her friend about their plans for that evening.
"That's great, and I don't want to waste time sitting here with me and having fun on your date. You know I love you guys, and I support your relationship with all my heart. So, get out of my house and have some fun for me too." Belle didn't want to chase them away, but they were a couple who needed to have fun in their lives and not get stuck with her. So, she showed them her smile and laughter while chasing them away to go on their date.
"You don't need to push us, Belle. We know you love us, but you want to be alone and cry, right?" Gabie and Nick stopped in front of her entry door and gave her a big hug, "You know that if you need something, my parents and Gabie's parents will come and help you in a flash. I don't want you to stay here alone and be miserable, so visit my parents. They miss you alto, and they told me that the last time you visited them was a year ago, so get dressed and see my parents." Nic asked his cousin because he knew she would be lonely if she stayed in the house.
"You know what? You're right Nic, after you go on your date I'll get dressed and visit your parents and tomorrow I'll visit my godparents. How do you like my plan?" Belle asked her cousin with a smile. "I like your plans, pumpkin, and don't you dare to be sad because of that woman because she doesn't worth it, you got me? Love you, cousin!" Nic hugged Belle and left with Gabie, so Belle could get ready to visit his parents.
After Nic and Gabie left her house, Belle thought her cousin was right. She doesn't want to be alone in the place and be depressed because of what happens. So she went stairs to her room to get dressed and visited her aunt and uncle.
After half a minute of walking, she arrived at their door and knocked. Belle heard steps that were approaching the door.
"I'm coming." The voice was saying while approaching the door. When the front door opened, an elderly lady in her sixties stood at the entry, looking at Belle with a big smile and hugging her. "I know you're happy to see me, aunt Julia, but don't press me too hard because my shoulder is still healing," Belle said to her aunt while hugging her.
"I'm sorry, my dear, it's just that I've missed you so much since the last time I saw you. Nic told me you got hurt at your duty, and I wanted to visit you at the hospital, but as you know, Nick stopped us from going there. So got here, I'm mumbling nonstop and not letting you come inside. Please come in, my love. Your uncle is in the living room watching television. David, we have a surprise visit her," her aunt was yelling to her husband from the entry.
"What surprise visit?…" said her uncle when Belle entered the living room with her aunt, "I'm disappointed, uncle David! I guess you didn't miss me as aunt Julia missed me!" Belle was 'skulking' in front of her uncle with her arms crossing.
"How can you say that, my dear. I've missed you so much!" David came to her and hugged her without hurting her wounded shoulder.
"Come sit next to me and tell me what has been going on with your life since the last time we saw you," her uncle said while guiding her to the sofa. "Julia, bring Belle's favorite drink and snacks so we can talk to her," David said to his wife while facing Belle and talking to her. After a few minutes, his wife came with Belle's favorite drink and snacks and just decided to speak to her.
After leaving Belle's house, Gabie and Nic decided to go to their favorite coffee shop and eat something sweet. After one hour of driving, they came to see the sign of their favorite coffee shop and parked near the entrance.
When they came in, they asked for a table for two from the hostess. A few minutes later, a waiter came and took them to their table with a menu card and left them alone so they could decide what they wanted to order. "It's been a while since we came here, right, my love?" Gabie asked Nic while looking around to see if something had changed there. "You're right, my love. I'm glad that we came here. It was and will always be our favorite coffee shop because, in this place, I asked you to be my girlfriend three years ago. Plus, it's our anniversary today. So that's why we came here today." Nic was looking at Gabie with so much love that he knew. He would ask her to marry him one day, but first, he needed to pass one tricky step in his life, facing his best friend, Alex.
"What are you thinking about, Nic?" Gabie asked him with a smile. She loved him so much that she couldn't seem to see her life without him by her side.
"I was thinking of how to tell your brother about us. But, because it gets complicated for me to face him every day and not tell him about us, maybe we should tell him tomorrow. What do you say, my love?" Nic was worried that he would find out by himself if they didn't tell him soon, and it would be worse. He would hate him for not telling him.
"Your right Nic, Let's tell him tomorrow in the afternoon" Gabie leaned into Nic, and Nick kissed her.
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!" yelled a familiar voice.
