A sturdy tree suddenly snapped in half as Ethan was sent crashing through it.
The previous, serene, pleasant island now looked like the aftermath of a battle.
The island was now filled with smoke from the burned and broken trees scattered all over the place. Even the white sand beach was now dyed with black ashes.
Ethan used his hands to push himself up from the ground, but he fell back again.
"He called this training? This is a freaking beatdown," Ethan wanted to scream, but he couldn't.
Ethan's appearance now looked tattered with dirt all over his face and body.
With his hands folded into fists, Ethan pushed himself from the ground; his hands shook violently, but with the grit of his teeth and a determined expression, he leaped off the ground and was now standing back at his feet again.
Ethan stood on the ground and looked at the peak of the mountain, where a blurry figure stood.
"Come on, old man, is that all you got?" Ethan sprouted his wings again, and with a flap, he took off the ground.
He was now flying at a relatively fast speed, causing his image to become blurry a little as he sped through the sky.
When Ethan got closer to the top, something strange happened.
"What the?" Ethan's eyes widened at the sight of the sudden appearance of Rowena in the air.
"Hahahahaha! "Come to papa," Rowena said with a creepy smile, sending out his foot like a falling hammer. Rowena's foot connected with Ethan's head, and he fell from the skies faster than he had gone up.
"Ahhhhhh!!" Ethan closed his eyes tightly as he fell.
"Wait a minute, am I still falling?"Ethan opened his eyes; immediately he opened his eyes, and he crashed onto the ash-colored beach and sank into the sand completely.
The spot where Ethan crashed now had a huge crater. After a moment of silence, a hand suddenly came out of the hole, revealing Ethan, who was now covered with dirt.
"Alright, enough of this." Ethan stomped the ground and flew up again.
"You're late. I thought you would have been here a little earlier," Rowena said immediately after Ethan stepped on the mountain.
"..." Ethan stared at Rowena as if he was looking at an alien.
"You kicked me from such a height and yet you are still complaining about how late I am."
"Hey, this is not real, so why are you acting as if it was a big deal? Now, let us start this training," Rowena casually said.
"Wait–what? The training has not started," Ethan said, and his voice was slightly raised.
"Yeah," Rowena agreed.
"What do you mean, yeah? So does that imply that all of those kicks were just—"
Ethan stopped halfway as Rowena interrupted him.
"Those were just warm-ups."
"Just warm up," Ethan muttered, and he looked around the island, which was now filled with smoke and broken trees.
In his trance, behind him, Rowena stretched his legs in a posture that looked like he was about to perform a kick.
"You called this a–"
Suddenly, from behind, Ethan felt a kick, and he was sent flying from the mountain towards the large, blue ocean.
In the air, Ethan spun his body to face forward, and he saw Rewena waving at him with a smile. Seeing the creepy smile, Ethan clenched his fist before falling into the ocean.
Sometime later, Ethan was now standing opposite Rowena.
"Today's training would be creativity. The best skill a draconian can have in flame control is, undoubtedly, creativity. Now, I know you would want to know what creativity has to do with fire. To put it simply, creativity has to do with how and which way you use your flame. It could range from anything, "Rowena said and looked at Ethan, who looked focused on what he was saying.
"The reason why the dragon flame is stronger than any other flame ability is solely because of its source, or where it came from. The normal human flame can't turn anything into a crisp, but for the dragon flame, it's a piece of cake."
Rowena soon made a sword out of the flame, and the sword looked both flamy and solid at the same time. Rowena soon took a fighting stance.
"This here," Rowena said and started spinning the sword skilfully, and he said, "a human flame user can't do this because, mostly, their flames are mainly used for dealing attacks, but the dragon flame, on the other hand, seems more like those cultivation techniques in novels." Rowena threw the flame sword at Ethan, and the latter caught it.
Ethan stared at the sword for some time. The warmth the sword emitted was a comfortable feeling.
The sword was no different from a normal sword, but the only difference was that this had a flamy form, but at the same time, it felt solid.
After feeling the sword for some time, Ethan made a wild swing with the sword, causing the air to distort.
Seeing Ethan swinging and making different slashes with the sword, Rowena said, "With precise control, the dragon flame has no limits to what it can do."
"For example, if you want to make a frying pan." And a frying pan made of flame materialized in his hand, and he continued, "or you want to make short blades." two flamy blades appeared in his hands.
Ethan took a stance and was about to make another slash. However, the flame sword disappeared from his grasp, and he heard Rowena's voice.
"Now, why don't you try making a sword on your own?"
Then, Ethan took a deep breath and began to visualize a sword in his hands; then, flames started swirling out of his hands before slowly extending out until they reached the length of a sword.
Seeing what Ethan had made, Rowena tried to hold his breath, but if one looked at him, they would know it would burst out soon, and that is what happened.
"Hahahahaha!" Rowena's laughter filled the air.
"Why is he laughing?" Ethan mumbled to himself before shifting his gaze to his hand.
"Sh*t! I didn't mean to. " Ethan looked at the sword, which was shaped like a d**k, and the worst part of it all was the fact that it was currently pointing at Rowena.
"I did mean to," Ethan said again.
"I understand." Rowena lightly slapped Ethan on the shoulder, and it looked like he was about to say something serious. "You're still a virgin, right?"
"…"
"Where the fuck is this question coming from?" Ethan thought.
"Anyway, when we get back, you should lay with a girl," Rowena comforted Ethan with a pat on the back.
"I wouldn't want that. Now can you tell me how to get rid of this thing?"
"Oh, sure, just stick it up in your as–"
"I am serious!" Ethan yelled and threw the dick-shaped sword, and it dispersed into smaller flame particles.
"Can you tell me what I did wrong before I start losing more respect for the first human dragon, who seemed to be a big pervert?" Of course, Ethan didn't say the last part out loud.
Rowena put on his serious face, and he said, "To be creative, your mind also needs to work like that. For example, you just went forward and tried making a sword without thinking about the details and the various engravings on it, so it resulted in it taking that..ahem.. that form. "
"Now try again, but this time, attempt to put in the details as well."
Ethan took a deep breath, and the next moment, flames started extending out of his hands.
