Chapter 97 - Response

Princess Lucinda stood at the meeting spot she arranged with one of the guards to meet with her to discuss their upcoming plans. It was cold, which wasn't unusual for the time of night but she chose this spot because it was hidden from plain sight.

They were still within the castle walls and if she looked over she could see the peasant below working on the farms. It gave her a sense of superiority knowing that these lands belonged to her family and that the specks of tiny people working below should be grateful to her and her family.

A cold gust of wind threatened to send her inside to seek additional warmth but she stood her ground since she would not be sure that there could be another opportunity like this she couldn't afford to let this one pass her by, her future was riding on it too much.

"Bloody hell," Lucinda said as she stamped her foot impatiently.
