Chapter 76 - Disbelief

When Misty left, Princess Lucinda ignored them all and went back to restacking her plates with additional food. All the servants could talk about was her shocking display of vulgarity and how the mighty have fallen.

Juri used that time to slip away to the horse races with Riva in tow. It was at least two hours before Princess Lucinda felt she had digested her food and felt comfortable making her way to the racetrack.

Lucinda seethed when she saw Juri standing beside Flo. They were next to the best seats, the ones closest to the very edge of the racetracks. They were enjoying themselves, joining in with the other women sounding uncouth, with all that shouting and yelling at the horses they wanted to see win.

It bothered her that Juri had only just met Flo and already she had been ingratiated into the inner circle. They were laughing like they were best friends like they knew each other for years and haven't just met that day.
