"I think we're being followed," said Ari.
Marino groaned, "Stop worrying, Eileen would have sensed them if that was the case."
"Eileen caught a cold when she followed you to the pub. Remember, I don't think we should rely on Eileen's senses right now."
"You're the reason I had to take her along in the cold night air in the first place."
Her face was flushed as she recalled how close they came to being intimate that night.
"Look I'm not trying to argue with you but whenever I get a feeling in my gut like this, something always goes wrong, so heed my foolish advice and stay close to the group for now."
Marino nodded curtly, "Understood."
She seemed to have pissed him off again and she wasn't even trying this time around. She thought it best to give him some time to vent and allow his anger to cool. He always got this cleft in his jaw whenever he was angry and she found it so adorable.
