"You're Merlin, like the one from the books?".
He kept silent.
"Of course that's right. The cloak, the hood, the...!".
I got up to touch him, but I went right through him.
"Didn't the books say I died nearly 8 centuries ago?".
"Not up to that, but roughly so, I think?".
"Wow. I can't possibly believe that....!".
"To the message!" he thundered.
"Right".
"In you lies the future!".
"How do you mean?".
"You bear the seed of Godan and the extremities of Sizzetov. Which power you use the most will become your being".
"Wait, what are you trying to say?".
"I mean that you are the son of Godan and Sizzetov".
I burst into laughter.
"You're so funny. The books didn't say that".
I looked at him. His face was as cold as stone. He was probably annoyed by my outburst.
I straightened up immediately.
"Wait, you're serious?".
"Will I leave my Palace of Rest to crack jokes?".
"Palace of what? What's that?".
"None of your business".
"Wait, who's Sizzetov and why do I have his extremities?".
"He's the arch enemy of Godan".
"I thought that was Melithos?".
"Melithos was just a pawn in his grand scheme".
"That was not what we were told. Do you mind explaining?".
"I'm not your tour guide. That's the work of the Academy".
"But it seems like this bit of info escaped them".
"Still not my responsibility, boy".
"I think that changes now".
We turned back to trace the speaker.
My jaw dropped open at the name.
"Gandalf, what are you doing here?".
"He's now our responsibility".
"Redein?".
"Yes".
"Arrgh".
"Gan...Gan...Gandalf!!!"
I could only gasp.
Merlin turned to me.
His eyebrows creased at my demeanor.
"Don't act like you saw Tom Cruise, act cool".
I could only whisper to myself.
I quickly straightened up.
Luckily, he acted as if oblivious of my actions.
"Boy, here's all you need to know".
THIRD-PERSON POV:
Sizzetov was one of Godan's officials. He then grew proud and wanted to overthrow Godan. He recruited many others to join him.
He lost in the end and was cast down. He was sentenced to eternity in chains.
Due to his thoughts of revenge, his powers grew darker and darker.
He managed to contact Melithos, who was in that time serving Godan.
Melithos was in search of freedom. He wanted to leave the service of Godan and spend the rest of his eternity free.
He promised Melithos freedom if he chose to help him.
Melithos fell for his schemings.
He seeped some of his dark magic into Melithos.
Melithos went on rampage for him.
He killed the gods and took their essence, hoping to free Sizzetov on the next Edriva.
However, he lost to Arith. During the process, Durz gave his essence to stop Melithos.
As a result, Melithos was imprisoned alongside Sizzetov.
But unknown until now, some kind of incarnation of Sizzetov still walks free, waiting to wreck havoc.
