ACE POV:
The warthog then turned to the object of opposition; ME!
It then rushed at me, horn-first. I grabbed it's horns and consequently slammed it against a tree.
It got up and squealed loudly. It rushed at me again, galloping faster. Suddenly, it pulled the brakes on me. It swiftly turned and kicked me powerfully with it's hind leg.
I slammed hard into a tree. It rushed for me again. I rolled away. It ran head-on into the tree.
I seized the moment. I rushed at it, boxing it's fat round head as quick and powerful as I could.
*SQUEAK*
Jula saw it's chance and swiftly sent it's horns into the neck of the warthog.
It let out a sharp shrill cry. It gave up the ghost.
"Master go".
"Why?".
"Master face many quezz".
"Quezz?".
It tried to scoop me up but fell down. It was obviously hurt bad.
"You're bleeding".
I covered it's wounds with my hands.
"Stay here, I'll get help".
Soon, loud squeaks and thuds started to filter into my ears.
I turned around on impulse.
"Master go now".
"I'm not leaving you alone".
Thuds ruffled the bushes. Soon, trees started to fall around me.
I felt a strange but rather dominating presence around me.
Soon, the noise got closer and closer.
Rampaging warthogs started to run towards me, like a herd of nasty bulls.
They were all around us.
"Oh shit".
I turned to find a way out. To my dismay, we were encircled, and greatly outnumbered.
"Quezz".
It tried to get up, but fell down.
They run closer and closer. I tightened my fists.
I won't go down easy without a fight!
"Now" I heard a loud female voice.
*SWOOSH*
*SLASH*
The heads of the quezz started to fall, one by one. Their bodies hit the ground, impaling it as they slid forward.
They were all dead; all of them.
I went closer, and nudged the body of a warthog on the ground. It didn't budge.
*SWOOSH*
"Who are you?".
A sword was pointed out to me from behind. I turned around slowly to see who it was.
It was a lady; very beautiful to behold.
Her face shone in the light, her skin very smooth. Her boobs were...
"Ouch" I shouted. Her sword was pushed a little into me, bringing me back from my reverie.
"I asked a question. Who are you?".
"I'm Ace. Wallace Peters".
"What's a human doing in Zetho?".
I looked around. I just noticed the rest of her crew. Obviously, with the way she brewed confidence, she was the leader.
She came closer and sniffed me. A cold vibe came from her body to mine.
"He's no ordinary human. Something's not right about him".
"What are you, human? You're quite different from the rest".
One of her men came forward and whispered to her. He moved backwards.
She then turned to me again.
"He says you killed that quezz with your bare hands, human".
She pointed to the first warthog.
"Yes, I didn't. Actually, it was Jula who killed it".
Then, I looked at Jula. Someone pointed a sword at it.
"Hey...hey...hey, it's mine".
"Shut up, punk".
She looked back at him. He lowered his sword and joined the rest.
She looked back at me. She pushed her sword harder.
"Ouch...ouch. I wasn't intending to run".
*SWOOSH*
"Did I miss the hunt?".
"No, you came just in time" said the leader cynically.
The leader looked back, giving me a good view. The new arrival was a young girl. She looked exactly like the leader, but younger.
"Sorry, I'm late" she bent her head low.
"Sensei, the rules" one echoed.
"She deserves to be punished" another said.
"Yes" they all chorused.
She raised her hand up.
Silence.
"Where were you?".
"I went to...". Her brown eyes fell on me.
"The pure-blood. He's here".
'Finally, someone that recognizes me' I thought.
*SWOOSH*
She was by my side all of a sudden. She held my face in her hands, turning it from side to side.
Her hands was very cold.
"He's the one. He's the pure-blood".
"Pure-blood; a human?" the leader said.
"I'm sure, he's the one".
"How did you know?"
She went silent.
"Did you go to the city again?".
She bent her head low.
"Haven't you been warned never to go there? Do you want to get yourself killed?".
'Killed?' I thought to myself.
"I'm sorry sis. I couldn't help it".
She turned to look at her sister.
"Argh, those eyes. Fine, I forgive you".
She ran and gave her a hug.
"Don't do that again. It's dangerous".
She then turned to me.
"If he's really the one, what is he doing here?".
"It was said that he's missing, from the Academy".
"Missing? Seems like Jonathan can't take care of his own".
"Who's Jonathan?" I asked.
