DREKOV POV:
"Mom!"
I found out that we all fell asleep where we lay.
Everyone jerked awake because of my screams.
"Sorry, guys. I had a nightmare".
"It's alright. Seems like we slept here".
It then occurred to me!
"It's been a day since Ace was with the cauldez".
"Oh, shit".
"What do we do now?".
"I dunno. Should we meet Dad again?".
"He's our best chance".
"No, he's not".
It was Xiao. He came from the corridor.
"Lucas is awake. Aggie took care of his wounds".
'Wounds?' I thought.
'But I didn't see...'
"We could use some help now".
We all rushed to my room.
We met Aggie at the door, about to leave.
"You look much better".
"Yes, thanks".
I looked at Lucas.
"His injuries weren't so severe. He'll be okay now".
"Thanks, Aunt Aggie".
She left.
We found Lucas awake, and looking much better.
"Good day, sir". It was Aurella.
"Good day to you too".
He looked at me intently.
"They prepped me on what happened. You did well".
"Thank you sir".
"What of Ace?".
"We haven't seen him since. We came here for help but my dad...".
"It's alright. I'll take you to the Academy now".
He stood up and tried to open the portal but fell to the ground.
"Sir, you're not well enough. I'll get help from my Dad".
"No, Drekov. He refused the first time, what's the assurance he will agree now?". It was Aurella.
JANE POV:
I was worried once again.
"I wish Dad was here. He'll...!".
It then struck me hard.
Dad!!!
"My Dad. How foolish I have been" I lamented aloud.
"Your Dad is Ace's guardian".
"Yes, that's right".
"What do you suggest?".
"Let's go meet him".
"How? Ohhh!!".
"I'll come along". It was Shola.
We left the room. We went to a bigger room.
I rubbed my hands like I was going to make a bonfire.
I cupped my hands together.
"Sirae Divaris".
A portal opened but closed immediately.
I tried again but the same thing happened.
"Try again, Jane".
"I'm trying. I barely learnt it yesterday".
I rubbed my hands harder. I cupped them together.
"Focus your thoughts on the purpose!".
It rang in my head.
I took a deep breath and calmed myself.
I slowly released my hands from each other.
"Sirae Divaris".
A bright light shone through my eyelids.
"You did it, Jane" yelled Shola.
I opened my eyes and saw that the other end was at my grandparents' house.
I sighed deeply in relief.
We entered through to the other side.
Geev appeared to us from nowhere.
"Mistress, you're safe".
"What the...?" yelled Drekov.
"Hello, Geev".
"Where's Dad?".
"He's at the Academy now".
"I think we best go now".
Geev disappeared out of the blues.
"Where's...? So creepy" said Drekov.
"Yeah, Ace thought so too".
He appeared again.
"Shit...!".
"Could you stop doing that?".
"It's my nature".
"Then, stop making it so creepy".
He turned to me.
"You could take any of the beasts in the stable".
"Thanks, Geev".
"My pleasure!".
He disappeared again.
"I dunno if I'm the only one here who thinks he's creepy".
We all chuckled aloud.
AT THE ACADEMY
We all entered the Academy. We rushed towards the class.
"Jane, Jane" yelled someone. I turned around to look.
It was Melinda.
She rushed to us, almost running.
"You are safe! Thank goodness".
"Where are the rest? Did they come with you?".
"No, they're in Russia" answered Drekov.
"Russia? How did...?".
"We'll explain later. Where's Dad?".
"He's at the Council's".
"Jane, Shola, thank goodness".
It was Mom. She came rushing down the hallway. She hugged me closely.
"You are safe. Are you hurt anywhere? Any broken...?".
"No, Mom. We're fine".
"Good day, Mrs Willis".
"Good day, Shola. How are you?".
"Fine. Thank you".
"Where's Dad?".
"He's in...".
"Jane!!!" yelled a familiar voice.
It was Dad. I ran towards the voice.
I looked around. It was really him!!!
I hugged him tightly.
"You're safe. You're safe". He squeezed me tighter.
"Yes, Dad".
I was getting bored of answering thesame question over and over again.
"We went into the class. We couldn't find any of you. The whole Academy was thrown into panic".
"They're in Russia now".
"How did they get there?".
"Good day, Mr Willis". It was Drekov.
"Good day to you too, boy".
"He saved us" I reported.
"Oh, thank you".
"But wait, from what?".
I was surprised at his questions.
'Wasn't the cauldez....?'.
"A cauldez, Dad".
"A cauldez?".
"Yes, Dad".
Then, he asked the same question on my mind!
"Where is Ace?!!!"
