Background
The Kinzoku clan is a well known Arcane Aristocrat Clan. It's known as the Battalion Clan because a majority of its members are associated with the Magicaean army and other law enforcement branches. The clan resides in a thriving neighborhood in the mountains in the Royal Capital. It was once its own municipality but since it was built close to the Capital when Mediocris expanded it became apart of the city.
However, after the 2nd Great War six members, including three Purebloods emigrated to the newly formed kingdom Luxarealis. The Kinzoku Clan are believed to be descended from the Deusrian Gods. Specifically, Siure and Rakia. This makes them distant cousins to all the other aristocrat clans.
Clan System
The Kinzoku clan is among the strongest aristocrat clans of Magicae. It's separated into two parts, the Main house, which leads the clan and Marginal Houses which protect the clan. The main house is Purebloods only while the marginal are the non-Pureblood branch families. The head of the clan which belongs to the main house becomes a member of the parliament the same day they become head of the clan. Not much is said or known about the marginal houses except three, House Argent, House Suraibaa, and House Suigin. House Argent is said to be the armourer family that creates armor for Magicae's soldiers. House Suraibaa makes weaponry, and House Suigin creates metal appliances. House Suraibaa's and House Suigin's products get distributed to the other realms whilst the products of House Argent doesn't.
Customs/traits
Pureblood aristocrats are known to inbreed. They do this to keep their bloodline pure, hence why the main house is only purebloods. Additionally, aristocrats from the marginal houses are also known to inbreed to keep their bloodline pure. However, it's more known to be done by members of the main house.
All members of the Kinzoku clan are either pale or warm ivory skinned with mono-lid eyes. They're usually seen in Magicaean armor, or their Japanese inspired armor with their clan coat of arms embroidered on the upper left shoulder and the Magicaean flag on the right. If they're not in armor, they wear Kimonos, Hakama, and they sleep in Magicaean sleepwear.
Magics
Kinzoku Purebloods have both metal and mercury magic, while non-Purebloods only have metal magic. Purebloods are born with Debei Donum which means double gift. Most Pureblood Aristocrats has Debei Donum, but each clan's Debei Donum is different. Debei Donum are a magic type or magic types that the Purebloods only have. Pureblood Kinzoku Debei Donum is mercury magic. The Marginal house members don't have mercury magic, only metal.
