As Zymon stood in front of the wreckage of the crashed flyer, his eyes were wide with a mix of shock and determination. The metallic husk of Kylan's creation lay before him, a puzzle waiting to be solved.
"What is this?" Zymon looked it with a curiosity. When he searched for further information he found the label "Smell sensing flyer" then he again shocked after seeing the name of Kylan on it.
Zymon's heart ached with the loss of his uncle, the Eridani, but he knew he had to find him. With an eager spirit, he began the arduous task of researching and modifying the flyer, turning it into a marvel of artificial intelligence. The once lifeless machine now hummed with newfound vitality, responding to Zymon's commands like a loyal companion.
Driven by the desire to find his missing uncle, Zymon embarked on a relentless quest. He traversed various locations where the elusive Eridani had been spotted, each time hoping to catch a trace of his uncle's scent. However, despite his numerous attempts, the elusive scent always led him to a different individual.
The frustration mounted, but Zymon persisted, unwilling to give up on the search for his uncle and the aid of his dwarf body. He knew that his uncle was out there somewhere, and he was determined to find him.
One exhausted day, when Zymon got tired after going through too many hardships of finding his uncle, Zymon found himself kneeling in front of a bustling Television shop at NPT crossing. His tired eyes caught a news report that sent a jolt of adrenaline through his veins – the Eridani had abducted two individuals near NPT crossing.
With renewed determination, Zymon sprang to his feet and sprinted towards the scene. As he reached NPT crossing, Zymon witnessed a dire situation unfolding. His uncle stood at the mercy of several gunmen, one of them moments away from pulling the trigger.
Without hesitation, Zymon leaped into action, grabbing the collar of the shooter, disrupting his aim. The sudden intervention gave Eridani an opportunity to escape, but it also painted Zymon as a suspect in the eyes of onlookers and law enforcement.
"Who is this kid?" an officer looked at him with a curse in his eyes. "Do he even know, what he did? Just take him until his parents report to the police station." That officer commanded.
With accusatory eyes upon him, Zymon found himself in police custody, awaiting an explanation for his actions. Undeterred, he utilized the AI-enabled flyer to send a message. The flyer, now armed with the scent of the Eridani's blood, that was fell on the crime scene, set off in pursuit of its target.
The scene shifted to the Eridani returning to his lair. The dark ritual had bestowed upon him unnatural powers, transforming him into a formidable force. In a moment of twisted satisfaction, he mercilessly ended the lives of the abducted individuals, extracting their spinal cords for his unnatural sustenance.
In the aftermath, the Eridani, now back to his normal consciousness and appearance, received a letter from the AI-enabled flyer, revealing that the one who saved his life today was his nephew, Zymon. After reading that letter he thought of that kid and assumed that he must be the first one of the next generation, a dwarf a helpless like used to be, Curious and intrigued, he decided to pay a visit to the police station in his civilian guise, a handsome figure with an air of charisma that concealed the darkness within.
Entering the police station, the Eridani effortlessly secured Zymon's release, leaving the onlookers in awe of his presence. As they stepped out into the night, Zymon couldn't help but gaze up at his uncle in admiration. Without uttering a word he was just looking up to his uncle.
"Why did you save me?" Eridani asked Zymon.
"You? Asking me that question. I need the secret you know about the height and charisma you owns. Just look at me. Everyone bullies me in school, my family may be they secretly hates my appearance. That day when she (Zymon's crush) laughed at me and said that the flower I gave is much longer than me. These all experiences just pierces me." Zymon said.
The Eridani, his expression unreadable, inquired about Zymon's willingness to embrace the darkness.Eridani who was familiar to the same childhood as Zymon asked if he is ready, he questioned whether the desire for height and beauty was worth the cost of innocent lives.
"What are these lives? This world just likes the one who looks same as them; there is no place in this society for the people like me" Zymon's eyes was burning with the hate and darkness that was seeded in his mind by the society itself.
As Zymon contemplated his decision, the dark reality of his uncle's power unfolded before him. When he visited the base of Eridani, he saw the blood flowing on the floor; he saw bones and bodies all over. He couldn't ignore the pain and suffering that the Eridani had caused. Zymon heart was pounding heavily he looked up to his uncle and saw a drought of expressions. "This is the price you need to give" Eridani said.
Days passed, and Zymon found himself preparing for the impending dark ritual, consuming the after-chemicals as part of the unnerving process. In the silence of his thoughts, he wrestled with the morality of his choices, haunted by the gruesome scenes within the Eridani's lair.
One day, while attempting to contact the Eridani, Zymon experienced an unexpected interruption. A sense of foreboding enveloped him as he hurried to the source, fearing the worst. He rushed to his uncle and saw something that was not meant good to him.
