Chapter 47 - GRAND DEPARTURE

The space ship descended onto Godwin's headquarters near Saturn, its metallic hull humming with the vibrations of interstellar travel. As the door whooshed open, Scythe and Marin, weary from their mission on Earth, stepped out onto the landing platform. Godwin, their master, stood there, his eyes reflecting a mix of anticipation and concern.

Within the ship, the meditative silence of Axe Saint's cockpit was shattered by the noise of their return. Axe Saint, a formidable figure with a long white beard and a powerful aura, emerged, his eyes piercing through the space around him. The crew and inhabitants of the ship instinctively bowed in deference to the disciple of Lord Shiva.

"Axe Saint," Godwin greeted respectfully, "Scythe and Marin have returned from their mission."

Axe Saint, his gaze penetrating, nodded in acknowledgment. However, a sense of foreboding lingered in the air. He spoke with a gravity that echoed through the ship, "I sensed disturbances in the cosmic flow while meditating. Scythe, you brought chaos with you. Tell me, what transpired on Earth."

Scythe, unable to meet Axe Saint's gaze, recounted the challenges they faced in bringing back Adam, the user of the black bull. He spoke of the sacrifices made, the battles fought, and the lives that were lost in the process.

Axe Saint's eyes narrowed as he absorbed the information. "You killed almost half a dozen people in your pursuit. Bloodshed stains the path you walked."

Scythe, head lowered, acknowledged the truth of Axe Saint's words. The weight of his actions hung heavily upon him.

Axe Saint's expression hardened. "And what of 'The ancient book of humanoid bulls'? Did you retrieve it as instructed?"

Scythe hesitated before admitting, "No, Axe Saint. The mission's urgency required us to prioritize the retrieval of Adam"

Axe Saint's disappointment was palpable. "The ancient knowledge within that book is crucial. You've jeopardized our preparations for the impending battle. If any of those humans create a copy of any humanoid bull, it will create a havoc"

With a sudden resolve, Axe Saint declared, "I can no longer abide by the actions of one who sacrifices innocents and disregards the mission. Godwin, this man is an incapable aristocrat under your command. I will seek another righteous king who can truly counter Diemos."

With those words, Axe Saint turned and left the spaceship, leaving a heavy silence in his wake. Godwin, torn between allegiance and duty, tried to reason with Axe Saint, but the disciple of Lord Shiva remained resolute.

"I can't continue to be associated with those who sacrifice the innocent for their own gain," Axe Saint declared as he vanished into the distance.

Godwin, frustrated and angered by the turn of events, turned his attention to Scythe. The atmosphere in the ship grew tense as Godwin drew his Sham sword, a gleaming sword with an ethereal aura. He approached Scythe, the blade's edge resting against his throat.

"I explicitly told you not to harm anyone on Earth," Godwin's voice was a low growl. "Your actions have not only cost lives but also our standing with Axe Saint. If you value your life, leave this place immediately."

The threat hung in the air as Scythe, caught between the anger of Godwin and the disappointment of Axe Saint, faced the consequences of his choices. The once-promising mission had unraveled, leaving the crew divided and tensions escalating within the confines of the spaceship hurtling through the cosmos.

Godwin's eyes bore into Marin, a mix of concern and urgency reflecting in his gaze. He needed answers about the confrontation involving Scythe, Moore, and the unforeseen consequences.

"I tried to stop him, Father," Marin began, her voice steady but laden with regret. "But before I could make a move, those humans were killed. And one of them was killed by Moore" "Oh let me explain he (Moore) is the master of Adam."

Godwin's eyes hardened at the revelation, but before he could express his anger, Moore intervened, urging Godwin to temporarily set aside his wrath and welcome his son, Scythe, who stood nearby. Torn between the desire to confront Scythe and the joy of seeing his long-lost son, Godwin saw Adam, his son, now at his 18 year of age, waiting for a command from Moore. "Mr. Shen take Adam in your cockpit, I am coming to meet him." said Godwin. Godwin now moved towards Scythe.

Meanwhile, high above Earth, Axe Saint continued his journey to retrieve the ancient book of humanoid bulls. As he soared through the cosmic expanse, his focus was interrupted by the sudden appearance of two figures – Zede and Kylan. Zede and Kylan was going to Squad for a space ship to catch Zymon. Suspended in mid-air, they confronted Axe Saint, questioning his presence.

Axe Saint, without acknowledging Kylan, fixed his gaze on Zede. "Are you really the user of the Blue Bull. Your cyan-colored birthmark over your left eye is no ordinary mark. It signifies a power within you – the power to become the next king of the Edmonia planet."

Zede, startled by this revelation, stammered, "King? What do you mean?"

Ignoring Kylan's presence, Axe Saint continued, "Your real father is waiting for you in the spaceship. War is imminent, and you play a pivotal role in the events that will unfold."

Before Zede could fully comprehend the weight of Axe Saint's words, the powerful figure vanished into the cosmic void, leaving Kylan and Zede suspended in a state of bewilderment.

Kylan, with a furrowed brow, turned to Zede seeking an explanation. "What was that about, Zede? What does he mean – your real father and the Edmonia planet?"

Zede, still processing the revelation, could only shake his head. "I don't know, Kylan, but it seems like there's more to me than I thought. We need to find out what this is all about and who my real father is."

As the two figures hovered in the vastness of space, uncertainty and questions lingered. The mysteries surrounding Zede's true identity, his connection to the Edmonia planet, and the impending war left them in a state of anticipation and apprehension. Little did they know that their destinies were intricately woven into the fabric of a cosmic saga that would shape the future of worlds.
