Chapter 50 - AFTERMATH OF AXE SAINT

Zede and Kylan descended to Earth in their specially designed heat-resistant suits, prepared for their return to the planet's surface. As they braved the atmospheric re-entry, a distinctive swooshing sound accompanied by a powerful aura caught their attention. Instinctively, they turned to see the familiar figure they had encountered before—the formidable Axe Saint.

The duo hurriedly altered their trajectory to intercept Axe Saint, recognizing the need to address this cosmic entity. With swift movements, they surrounded him in the middle of the sky, determined to engage in a conversation. Kylan initiated the interaction, asking, "Is this creature a friend of your 'Blue Bull user'?"

Zede chimed in, correcting the terminology, "Yes, but my name is Zede, you geezer."

Axe Saint, seemingly unimpressed by the casual demeanor, responded, "You need to learn some Edmonian etiquettes, kid." With a nonchalant wave of his hand, Axe Saint exerted a force that sent both Zede and Kylan hurtling down to the ground. Astonishingly, he accomplished this feat without physical contact, showcasing the magnitude of his cosmic abilities.

As Kylan and Zede lay helpless on the ground, the realization of their vulnerability sunk in. Kylan, struggling to his communicator, urgently contacted the Savior Society for assistance. "That white-bearded figure is out of the atmosphere now. The situation here is well and good, but our suits are immobilized. Please send help; we need assistance," Kylan pleaded, his voice laced with pain.

The scene shifted to Rubik's High School, where a mysterious figure in a black cloak entered the premises. He discreetly handed the watchman a tip and inquired about the office of Mr. Andrew, the new nano-tech faculty. Following the directions, he made his way to Andrew's office.

Inside the office, Andrew looked up in surprise as the cloaked man entered. A familiar grin spread across the man's face – it was Moore. He chuckled at Andrew's quizzical expression and took note of the stunning teenage beauty standing nearby.

"Who is she?" Moore whispered, and Andrew, in a conspiratorial tone, replied, "Oh, she is my assistant. Actually, I bought her from the d*ug dealers of South America."

"Sky. When did you go to South America?" inquired Moore.

"Stop it. Call me Andrew. No one knows that I am Sky. I created this alter ego to get funds and keep an eye on Adam and Zede," explained Andrew.

Moore dismissed Andrew's concerns about Adam, saying, "Stop worrying about Adam. See what I got."

Curiosity etched on Andrew's face, he asked, "What?"

"Stand up; come outside of the school," directed Moore.

Once outside, Moore led Andrew to a truck glowing with orange and green lights. As Andrew adjusted to the luminous environment, he saw an astonishing sight – a multitude of glowing Bel and Basil stones.

"What are they?" Andrew questioned.

"I got them in exchange for Adam," revealed Moore. "They can serve as a powerhouse; just one pair of Bel and Basil stones can power up this whole city for a decade. We'll sell them to raise funds for our experiments."

Concerned, Andrew asked, "But who bought Adam from you?"

"His father. And you'll be amazed to know that Adam is the son of an alien," Moore disclosed.

"But how did you acquire these stones?" Andrew inquired further.

"I betrayed him," Moore admitted with a sly smile

"You betrayed who?" Moore looked at sky and said "I was there doing my daily experiments and that Scythe named person landed on my roof he sure was trying to find these stones I don't know why but he needed Adam and he promised me that his master will give me something more precious than Adam. I went there with him."

(Two days ago, in the aftermath of Axe Saint's departure from Godwin's ship)

Moore found himself walking with Godwin, discussing the recent events. As they strolled through the ship, Moore expressed his gratitude for the care given to Godwin's son, Adam.

"Thanks for keeping my son, Mr. Moore. How is he? I mean his behavior. How is that?" inquired Godwin.

"Confident, obedient, and courageous. He really has your blood, Mr. Godwin," Moore replied with a subtle nod.

Godwin chuckled and asked, "So what now, Mr. Moore? What do you want?"

Moore's gaze shifted to Scythe, standing in the corner. "I want those stones, Mr. Godwin."

Godwin, puzzled, questioned, "What stones?"

"I came to know that Mr. Scythe has plenty of Bel and Basil stones," Moore revealed.

Scythe, taken aback, vehemently denied Moore's claims, insisting that he had no idea what Moore was talking about. "I am telling you master this human is not trust worthy" Scythe took out his gun and tried to shoot him. Godwin, sensing the tension, took swift action. He locked Scythe in a hold, preventing any interference with the situation.

"Mr. Shen, Mr. Flick, take this remote and reset the keycode of his ship," commanded Godwin, determined to uncover the truth.

Entering Scythe's ship, the group was met with a mesmerizing blend of orange and green glow emanating from the stones. Godwin, holding one of the stones, expressed his astonishment. Scythe continued to feign ignorance, but Mr. Shen took matters into his own hands, silencing the deceptive aristocrat.

Godwin, now aware of Scythe's betrayal, confronted him with a mix of disappointment and anger. "How did you come to know about this, Mr. Moore?" inquired Godwin.

"Sir, this aristocrat of yours came to me and asked for the basil stone that I had. This made me realize maybe he has some more of them, but I never thought he has this much," Moore explained, exposing Scythe's deceit.

Godwin, grateful for Moore's revelation, expressed his displeasure towards Scythe. "I don't have words to describe my pleasure, Mr. Moore. Just because of your visit, I am able to see the real face of this traitor. We were so worried about the fuel of our ships."

(Present)

"And after that He gave me the 20% of those stones. And I came back on earth." Said Moore

As the present moment unfolded, Scythe, handcuffed and defeated, conceded to the truth. Godwin, acknowledging Moore's role in exposing the betrayal, rewarded him with a portion of the Bel and Basil stones, marking a turning point in their journey.
