After the meeting at Godwin's cockpit, and having Marin accompanied by Damion, Mr. Scythe embarked on his journey towards Earth. He brought his ship to a halt above the planet and placed himself and Marin inside a capsule, which he then launched towards Earth. The capsule landed in the ocean and began to float.
Scythe opened the capsule's door. "Aah!! It's been a long time since I breathed normal air. I wonder why this planet's atmosphere is quite similar to ours," he mused. Marin created a translucent, purple-colored platform in mid-air and leaped onto it. "Don't consider me as your ally. I can find my brothers by myself," she declared before flying away.
"Oh my! Children these days," Scythe muttered to himself. He noticed a bag in the capsule glowing and, upon inspection, found that some of the stones he was carrying emitted an aura. Scythe chuckled to himself and then activated a hovering machine, which he used to travel.
Meanwhile, Moore was busy with his experiments in his laboratory. Suddenly, a flying craft landed on the roof of his lab, and Moore rushed upstairs to investigate. He was met with the sight of a tall and menacing man with a long face on his terrace. "Hey, who are you?" Mr. Moore demanded, holding a button in his hand.
Scythe jumped down from his carrier, and Moore, feeling threatened, pressed the button, causing explosives to launch towards Scythe. However, Scythe emerged unscathed from the explosion. "Who are you??" Moore tried to flee, but he tripped and fell, attempting to crawl away. Scythe seized his collar and inquired, "Where are those Bel stones?" in his native Edmonian language.
"What are you saying?" Moore screamed in confusion. Scythe paused for a moment and then realized the language barrier. He released Moore and retrieved a translation device, attaching it to his cheek. "Don't you understand where the Bel stones are?" he asked again.
"Bel stones? What is this thing?" Moore replied, baffled. Scythe was surprised by Moore's lack of knowledge. "You Earthlings don't even know about Bel stones. It is the most valu..." Scythe began but then stopped himself. "Oh, my dear friend, I'm sorry if I scared you. I won't harm you. I am an alien from the planet named Edmonia. I came here for research and need those Bel stones. May I take a look at your laboratory?" Scythe requested.
Moore, still anxious, protested, "No, no, no. The Savior Society will try to find you, and if they do, they'll arrest me. I need to pack up." He began running downstairs.
Scythe swiftly fired a laser shot at the stairs, blocking Moore's escape. Moore stopped in his tracks and raised his hands in surrender, looking quite battered. "You, you, alien!!" Moore muttered as he transformed his legs and elongated his centipede-like tail, trapping Scythe within it.
"They will catch me along with you; you are no match for them," Moore warned, ramming his tail against the wall. Seeing Moore's fury, Scythe attempted to calm him. "HEHEHEH, my dear friend, nobody can detect my arrival on this planet because we Edmonians use an invisibility coating to protect ourselves from unwanted interrogations."
Moore eventually returned to his normal form, no longer in attack mode.
(Inside Moore's Lab)
"So, this is my lab. Look, there's nothing here," Scythe said as he moved around, inspecting the lab. However, when one of the stones in his bag started glowing more brightly, he stopped. "Open this box," Scythe instructed Moore.
Moore complied, revealing a translucent orange-colored stone that emitted a radiant glow. Scythe's eyes widened as he snatched the stone from Moore's hand. "Where did you get this?" Scythe asked, his focus solely on the stone.
"Oh, this? I got it from a masked boy. He gave it to me in exchange for a control software and told me that I could craft a knife from this stone that would respond to my voice," Moore explained. Scythe realized that this stone could also be used as a weapon.
"What will I get in return for this?" Moore asked, stepping in front of Scythe. Scythe hesitated for a moment, then replied, "I'll think about it, my friend. What a nice lab. Let me take a look around, Moore, is it your name, right?" Scythe attempted to change the topic.
Moore, still puzzled, responded, "I see you're a clever person, Scythe, right?" They both chuckled and shook hands.
Meanwhile, Marin continued her search, her eyes glowing purple while Damion meditated over her shoulder. "What did you find?" Marin asked, losing her focus. "They are at 10° northeast," Damion reported, having detected the other two humanoid bulls.
Marin headed to Deca-Deca town and found two small humanoid bulls fighting on a rooftop (look chapter-31). She immediately called Scythe and said, "Scythe, I've found the two bulls, but I don't know where their users are or why they are fighting each other."
"Young lady, you'll be pleased to know that I've found the user of the black bull, and the Earthlings named him Adam," Scythe replied. "But how?" Marin asked in surprise. "I made a friend here. When he was showing me his lab, I saw a photograph of young Lord Adam. When I asked him, he said he works under him. The photograph showed young Lord's friend with the black bull on his shoulder. I'll provide more details later..." Scythe ended the call.
"Who was that?" Moore inquired from behind. "Why are you so shocked after hearing the name Adam? Do you know him?" Moore asked curiously.
"Oh, nothing. Just a misbehaved child on the call. What did you say earlier, that you want something in return for this Bel stone? Look, I don't have anything to give you," Scythe replied.
"Then give it back," Moore demanded, trying to take the stone from Scythe's hand. Scythe, however, had other plans. "Wait, wait," he said with a mischievous smile. "But I know someone who can offer you more than the price of this stone in exchange for your pupil Adam." Scythe carefully placed the stone in another bag, leaving Moore intrigued.
