Update!!!

As I've stated about the naming of Maximus, I have decided to change it to Grant. That being said, in my time not writing or in personal affairs, I will work on changing the name. However do bare with me for I'm trying my best with making this story.

Also for those who may be confused with how I write and the understanding ranks that is being portrayed.

The undead fall under the category of IMMORTALS when talking about vampires.

Blood Servants

are the lowest type of immortal, right above a feral. They cannot perform magic, however they can perform the Blood Arts, that are passed down through their clan, and through learning the Blood Arts, can have their own unique form.

Vampires

They are your average type of immortal, with them being the majorty population. They can use Magic and it can become powerful to defeat a Noble, however to get to that point, it will take years upon years, maybe even hundreds to accomplish that.

Nobles

They are the highest rank of immortall there is. They have the ability to use magic to its fullest potential. Like everyone else, they do start weak, given that most if not all Nobles are born however the rare outliers being the bitten ones, magic-wise, they grow quickly, becoming very powerful. They grow is quicker than a Vampire's by far, hence their higher rank in status as well.

In each three categories, there are levels, scaling from 1-10. However, a level 5 Blood Servant is not the same as a Level 5 Vampire. a Blood Servant would have to be level 8 minimum to fight against a level 3 Vampire.

Now with this to show, it's not impossible for immortals to evovle if you will. Blood Servants can become Vampires however their base 'form' will not disappear, unless they are stronger than their master. Even then immortals are based off of loyalty to speak, especially to their clan, mostly their clan head.

Now tounderstand that, you'll need to understand how immortals can be made.

There's three ways.

the first is through natural means, as the woman giving birth to the child, and the child will have characteristics of both parents and the chance to make a new power or a hybrid between to the parents' power

The second way is through a magic contract of sorts. This is mostly how Blood servants are made, however that isn't always the case. The victims has to be unconsciuos or full understanding of the contract in making. A magic symbol of the immortal in act with appear under the victim, who will then fall unconscious, A piece of both souls with be ripped off and exchanged when the immortal bites the now unconscious victim to start the transformation. Only through the victim biting their 'creator' will their souls be exchanged bad, and a permant bond formed.

Lastly the third way is through an intial bite from an immortal upon a vitim of any state of being other than dead. The bite will force venom through the blood stream. No contract will be made, but a bond will still form (with restrictions). Even if the victim is a Blood Servant, they will have no ties to their 'creator' unless a contract is made after the transformation.

Most in this case the 'creator' will ekill them after feeding, leave them, or take them under their wing to teach them control and the rules of the Vampiric world. If it's the third choice, then it is possible that the victim will stay with their 'creator' forming a contract through magic like the Second Way, only without the falling unconscious and the bite. The victim in question may feel a bit tired and drained magically.

slight spoiler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the next chapter , you'll be seeing a the world beginning to open up a bit more, with the introduction of new creature and the sorts.
