I'm lucky that I had money saved up because my son is trying to break me!
Stepping into Target, Silas' eyes sparkle, looking around in amazement.
"Don't stray far, but look around for anything you like, and we'll see if we can get it in your size," I comment.
Following my words, he looks around while I push the shopping cart around, looking for things he might like. Silas comes back within minutes with his little arms covered in clothes. His face hidden by his hair, as he holds the clothes up to me.
"Can I please have this, sir?"
"We're shopping for you, Silas. Anything you like, I'll get it for you," i assure, patting his head, softly. "when you're done, we can go try them on to see what really fits and what you can grow into."
Silas looks up at me, staring into my eyes, and nods his head, a small smile appearring.
Progress, small but there.
He runs away, loking for more clothes, while I look at the clothes already in the cart, checking their size. Looks like their all around the same size-- shirts being 10/12, pants being 12/13s-- however he hasn't brought back any shoes.
Looking up, I don't see Silas. Immediately, my heart drops, and I start to panic.
"Silas! Silas?!"
Leaving the cart, a dash around the store, looking for Silas, until I see him, fighting against this man's hold on his wrist.
"Get away from my son," I bark, running close to them. The man doesn't listen, and in response, I throw a solid punch to the jaw. The man jerks back, letting go of Silas.
"The fu-!!!"
I don't let him recuperate before I punch him again, hitting dead in the side. The man gasps for air, at the hit to his lungs. Anger is the only thing on my mind, but I reign it in to check up on SIlas. Whipping around, Silas is hidding behind an aisle. I slowly walk up to him, kneeling to his level.
"Are you hurt," I ask, worried.
Instead of responding, Silas jumps into my arms, crying into my shoulder. Picking him up, holding him tight against me, I walk away, the man now unconscious. People come around, being noisy, but i just push through them, taking the abandoned shopping cart, to the counter. Along the way, I grab a bunch of shoes, just throwing them into the cart, so he won't be walking around bare-footed or in clown shoes.
With the things paid for, I carry Silas outside while pushing the shopping cart with one hand. Putting a sleeping Silas in the car, I begin to putting the bags away.
"Until we meet," a silvery voice sounds from behind me.
Turning around, I'm out into a trance by this beautiful creature, Standing in front of me is a tall woman, with a curvaceous body, tanned skin. Her heart-shaped face is tilted with plump lips, a button nose, bright green eyes, with arched eyebrows, her long silver-white hair following to her waist down her back.
Her little chuckle is what breaks me from my stare.
"Who are you?"
'This is me.' again that voice is back.
"You still didn't answer my question."
"Katherine Snow Lapis Nevena De Clare, nice to meet you, Dear," she teases, doing a mock bow. "Come with me. I'll have one of the guards take care of this."
Although it seems strange to just go with a random lady, a random person in general, I feel that she won't hurt me. Sonething in my heart seems to even reach out to her, wanting to hold her in my arms. But I hesisate.
"I can't-"
"You can take Silas with us, as well. No harm will come to either of you, I swear upon my life," she interrupts me, assuring me.
Still hesistant, I pick Silas up, carrying him, and get into the car with Katherine. As the Car drives away from the store and gets onto the main road, Katherine looks at me.
"It's been a while, Dear."
"Why do you keep calling me 'dear'?"
"Well that's simple, you're my husband," she bomb drops on me.
"The fuck you mean?!"
