"Mr.Kyro will help with your training," Katherine disclose. "You'll need to work hard to catch up to the rest of the noble heir-in-training."
"Alright," I start. "Let's get to work."
Turning towards Mr. Kyro, he's an average height man, with a slender body--although muscular--, decked out in a butler suit. his lean face holds bright green eyes, with rounded eyebrows, a sharp nose, full lips. His brown hair is styled into a bald fade, giving him this crisp look. He stands a ways from me and nods.
"Sir Spade, proceed with an attack," he starts. "I would like to assess your strength and though-process before moving forward."
Without hesistation, I rush into an attack. My mind moves quickly as I look for any weaknesses, but I come up empty. Stopping inches from him, Mr. Kyro tilts his head.
"Why did you stop, Sir?"
"You have no weaknesses, so there's no point in attacking," i answer, eyeing him up and down.
He smiles softly," You have a sharp eye and high senses to be able to determine the strength of your opponent."
"However, you should never stop right in front of your enemy, especially if they are stronger than you."
My world spins, and my back lands hard on the ground.
Cough! Blood comes out the corner of my mouth.
"Again," orders Mr.Kyro.
Getting up, i take a few steps back, getting ready, and try to attack again. And again, I end up on the ground. It's the same, time and time again. But I contiune to try, trying different attacking forms, thinking of different ways of catching him off guard. Nothing works, but that doesn't make me lose hope. My eyes burn with determination.
After the hundred time, Mr. Kyro begins to let me land a punch or two, but that doesn't stop me from ending up on the floor. Huffing, I stand back up. I decided that getting into a comfortable position is best, than you get into a fighting position I'm uncomfortable in. I jurt my chin back, signaling him to come to me. He quirks his eyebrows, nonetheless he rushes me. Punches comes what seems everywhere, each one more stronger than the last, but the pain doesn't last long.
A quick kick to the side send my body flying, and I cough blood from my mouth. Once my body hits the ground, I think the pummeling will contiune, but it doesn't.
"That's enough," Mr.Kyro express. "You have alot of work cut out for yourself, but it isn't impossible. Tomorrow the work really begins."
"Thank you," Katherine speaks, standing beside a worried Silas. "Now let's eat, Dear. You must be famish."
standing up, dusting myself off, I nod. Walking inside, Mr.Kyro disappears to who knows where, while we sit in the lounge area. Katherine starts small talk with Silas, well tries to anyway, but he shys away. He looks at me, question clear in his face.
"Bubba, she's my wife, so she'll be your mom. You don't have to think about it right now, but get to know her," I inform him. "I'm right here."
"Hello, Miss," Silas speaks, voice so low, I could barely hear it.
"Oh deary, just call me Kat," she smiles. "I promise I don't bite."
she holds her arms out, implying a hug. Silas looks at me, wanting confirmation, but before I nod, he nods himself, like he's made up whatever it was in his mind and gets up, walking over. He hesistates for a second than hops into her arms, snuggling in her breasts.
This-!
Seeing Katherine's face of happiness, I decide to let it be. Instead, I relax, taking in the moment.
Maybe this won't be so bad.
I look at Katherine, holding Silas, as they talk. A smile rests on my face, and i feel this tug on my heart, with a soothing calm feeling. But it feels foreign to a degree.
Is that you, Katherine?
'You're learning, I see.'
Her voice comes back, seductively.
I chuckle, softly, leaning back in my seat, resting my eyes.
