Chapter 10 - Chapter 10

Lucifer was exploring Phoenix's memories, and he noticed that a few of his memories from his childhood were blurred. Nothing a little magic can not fix.

He clears the blur and sees Mrs. Dumas conducting experiments on Young Phoenix. "Just a little more and you'll finally be perfect," she said.

She flipped a switch and Phoenix went unconscious.

It was even through these experiments that Phoenix unlocked his soul power.

Why would she do experiments on Phoenix only to disown him in the end? He does not think The reason for his disownment is the reason he had thought it was.

What were the experiments done on Phoenix?

He continues to look into Phoenix's memories and he enters his teenage years when the engagement was canceled and he was disowned. He went to a school on a different planet and his ability was exploited for others which is a waste.

The weapons that he creates, he's never seen anything like them. How far did humankind go in creating weapons of war and destruction? The weapons are amazing, especially those plasma weapons. Combined with his magic and his soul power imagine how much destruction he can do with them.

He sees a memory of Phoenix making blueprints of various weapons and what they might be able to do. This is genius! It is unfortunate others don't think so though.

These blueprints still exist in a folder in his holopad, he can still look at them if he wants to.

If he can create them piece by piece and then put them together the destruction would be excellent. However, there's no way he will popularize it. Who knows what humans would do if they managed to get their hands on it?

Nothing good will come out of that.

But with his knowledge on the battlefield, once he returns in time, he's going to use these weapons of destruction and defeat the hero and his party, then end what should have ended a long time ago.

He opens his eyes and sits up. "What's the use of sleeping right now?" he said excitedly taking out his holopad.

He found the file where the blueprints were in and he clicked it. He frowns in confusion, the screen is too small.

"Click to enlarge your screen," he read when a notification popped up. He clicks out of curiosity and his holopad expands almost immediately, startling him. He held his breath, his heart beating very fast.

'I hate this era.'

A few hours later...

Phoenix was testing out some modern weapons. He figured out that if he wanted to use the weapons that he was going to create, he should learn how to use them.

He started with those plasma guns of a thing. It is the weapon the old Phoenix spent a lot of time making these weapons for others to use, even selling some of them and having a bit of a name in the weapons industry.

That isn't turning out to be as easy as he thought. It's like an automatic smaller version of a bow and arrow, he doesn't feel comfortable using this weapon.

Forget it he's just going to return to his comfort zone and use one of the modern versions of his favorite weapons. It was better when he was there.

Now if he remembers correctly, it would have a pole-like handle and the blade would be made of a material called plasma, which is hot enough to cut through the hardest substance. 'It seems no different from a flaming sword.'

He creates the weapon, either way when he activates the blade, his eyes shimmer as he watches a dark red five-foot-long curved blade form.

"It is beautiful," he whispered before laughing maniacally. "I made this! "

He spins it around while laughing. "I made this!" he repeats.

He wishes he had this ability a long time ago, he wouldn't have gone to Hephaestus, the Blacksmith God, to beat him up and force him to create a weapon for him. "No, wait," he said shaking his head. Hephaestus makes better weapons, he wouldn't be able to make one with as much quality as Hephaestus. But still, with this technology combined with his weapon, which he called Bela, he would have the gods tremble in fear of their upcoming defeat.

He swings it around and spins it again, nearly jumping in excitement, he wishes that he could show it to someone right now. He doesn't know what the time is right now, he can't see the sun, so he wouldn't be able to tell.

That is true, he hasn't seen the sun since he entered this house. It's been two days since he arrived here and he's never seen the sun of this planet.

It looks just like it did on Earth when he first arrived, but he's only seen it once.

The door to the training room opens and Augustus steps in. Phoenix's mood brightened as he walked to Augustus wanting to show him his creation.

"Look at what I made!" Phoenix said showing his creation to Augustus looking very proud of himself. "Isn't she beautiful? "

"It looks very nice, " Augustus replies very blankly.

Phoenix didn't mind Augustus sounding uninterested, he might be impressed deep inside. He swung it around a bit, smiling smugly. "I am going to call her Beel," he said.

"Alright," Augustus said nonchalantly. "It looks like you know how to use it," he said. "I can teach you a few tricks if you want," he suggested.

"No need," Phoenix replies. "Are you proficient in using weapons?"

Augustus nodded and Phoenix visibly sneered at him and folded his hands.

His thoughts were: 'If he is proficient in using weapons, that means that he knows how to use the plasma guns properly. Show off. '

Augustus who just saw Phoenix's expression change was bewildered. What did he do?

"Breakfast is almost ready," he said, looking away from Phoenix's jealous eyes.

"I'm going to have my bath first," Phoenix replies, before he leaves he turns around to Augustus and murmured, "Lucky."
