Phoenix was stunned to hear Augustus's annoyed voice. "Did I call at the wrong time?" he asked.
"Do I need to answer that question?" Augustus said he didn't sound angry, just annoyed, this made him feel a bit bad.
"Oops," Phoenix replies. "I just wanted to tell you I sent you some pictures," he said before cutting the call.
Augustus sighs and shakes his head with a small smile when he sees the call was cut off. He turned to generals and said. "Apologies for that, where were we?"
Phoenix was a bit embarrassed by the time he cut the call, he assumed Augustus was in a meeting and he had unknowingly interrupted.
"Who were you talking to?" Roger asked, curiously when Phoenix put away his holopad.
"My fiancé," Phoenix replied, honestly.
"Oh," Roger said. "You two must love each other then."
"No, we don't," Phoenix replies looking at Roger with a frown. "We just met two days ago," he said.
"Really? " Roger said his eyes widening in surprise. "I thought that since you acknowledge him as your fiancé, the both of you must love each other."
Phoenix was very confused by this claim. "I acknowledge him as my fiancé because that is what he is," he said. 'Does fiancé mean something else in the day?' he thought.
Roger nodded and then smiled, "I wish you happiness throughout your married life," he said sincerely.
Phoenix sees positive emotions heading toward him Roger and he immediately blocks them. Why are positive emotions coming to him?
'Humans from this timeline are so weird.'
Back on Earth...
Once Philip was sure that Isabella would be fine in his absence he left to go and meet the archeologists on the coastline of Greece in the Mediterranean region.
"Your Majesty," Phillip was greeted by the archeologists present. "Where are the rest?" Philip asked.
"They are on the island, Sire," one of the archeologists said.
"Okay, " Philip says looking at the sea. Not too far out, he sees a silhouette of an island. "Is that the island?" he asked staring at it.
"Yes, Your Majesty."
Philip nodded, and said, "Alright then, let's get going."
They boarded a body rather than an aircraft because there wasn't a place to land it on the island. As they got closer to the island, Philip saw what seemed to be a castle on the island. "What the--" Philip said as they got near the island. It's bigger than he thought.
When they got to the island, several geologists and historians were there with the remaining archeologists.
"Your Majesty," they all greeted Philip once he got down from the boat.
Philip nodded to them. The head archeologist present walks to Philip and bows. "Thank you for honoring us with your presence," the head archeologist said. The head archaeologist looked like a man in his fifties with grey eyes and grey hair.
"Travis," Philip said the man's name. "What sunken island from history is this?" he asked.
"We don't know, " Travis replies, leading Philip into the island. As they walked onto the island, Philip noticed that there were plants and trees on the island as well as ancient buildings.
"It doesn't look like it came from the water," he said, as he continued to observe the place.
Travis nodded at this. "It didn't come from the ocean," he said. "We told you that it suddenly appeared out of nowhere," he looked at Philip and his eyes were insulting him.
Philip looked at the old man in annoyance and said annoyed, "Right." "Where are we going?" he asked.
"To the castle, something is amazing you need to see," Travis said.
They walked to the village on the island, there was a road leading to the castle. Some of the doors to the houses were opened and Philip could see that the inside was well-furnished.
"Scott and his team are checking those houses to figure out the timeline of when this island might have disappeared.
They went to the castle, and Philip was amazed by the infrastructure of the castle. It looked like the castles of Babylon described by historians when humans lived here on Earth.
They got inside the castle and there were giant statues of beings that didn't look human as well as paintings.
Philip stopped in front of a painting. It was the painting of a masked male with red eyes and white hair. There was a writing at the end of the painting. It looked like the same writing from the obelisk. "Travis," he called the old man, who was looking at the other statues.
"Do you know what this says?" he asked.
The old man shook his head. "I can translate it, but it would take some time," he said.
"Please do," Philip said. Those eyes look like they can see him.
Back at the mall, In the Capital Planet...
Lucifer was aware when Philip and the archeologists entered his castle and stood in front of his painting.
Augustus looks like his father, however, his aura is quite timid and kind. He can see that. But what is he doing at his castle? That is an invasion of property.
He sighs and shakes his head. 'Humans.'
He is currently ordering lunch with Rosemarie and Roger. Even though Rosetta said they shouldn't allow him to buy food. She never said anything about them not buying something to eat. He just happened to be hungry as they were ordering. This time around he has a bit more self-control around food. He ordered some spicy noodles and some breaded and sauced-up chicken.
He tears up as he eats the noodles. 'Why does such a horrid race have to make something so good?' he thought as he ate it.
"Is it too spicy for you?" Roger asked in worry, he looked up from his food to see the pink-haired siblings looking at him in worry.
"Why do you ask?" he said while his mouth was full of noodles.
"You were crying," Rosemarie replies for Roger.
He shakes his head. "I was just wondering why this tastes so good," he said
The siblings laughed at him and he smiled fondly at them.
"Phoenix is that you?"
