That night.
"Ok, ok I can do this, I can do this!" Phoenix said then he ran to the bathroom. A few minutes later. "AH!"
He came out of the bathroom, his skin was scalding red. "Why didn't I just use a cleaning spell?" he asked himself.
He had mistakenly turned on the hot water setting and almost cooked himself. 'I don't like the bathroom'
Later when he is done tending to his burns, he doesn't ask anyone to help him do it because it was embarrassing.
Before he went to bed, he opened a book he took from the library. Although he has the original knowledge of the original owner, normally he would use his holopad, but he doesn't know any common sense in this world and he doesn't know how to use it, so he decided to do some research. He discovered why the humans left Earth and how they unlocked their soul power, by luck it seems, but it seems they don't remember the war between humans and demons thousands of years ago. So this would mean that the demons never made it past the war and went extinct not long after his death.
But it seems some things are still around even though humans don't know, like how Alphas, Betas, and Omegas are formed. They say it's because radiation changed the human genes during their travels, but the truth couldn't be farther from reality. He can sense Aphrodite's power at work. The love goddess must have felt sorry for two lovers of the same gender in that spaceship and used the radiation as an excuse to manifest her powers.
Athena must have wanted to guide the humans during the war too, so she must have met with the leader and taught him how to unlock his soul power. There are also other signs of the gods being at work, but they are minor. It looks like they haven't given up on the humans even though the humans have already forgotten about them. Pathetic. Soon he would recover his strength and destroy them alongside their precious humans.
The next day.
Phoenix got up a little too early, around 6:00 am... He's feeling excited. He wants to explore his soul power. Since he couldn't do so in his previous life. But from the original's memory, he can create any weapon. But because of the original's inexperience, he doesn't know how to use the weapons he creates which makes him a low class.
Fortunately, he knows how to use weapons. But he wonders what would happen if he infuses his magic with his soul power. This should be easy. When he got to the training room. Found a black spacesuit, it almost looked like a tracksuit, outside the training room. It looked his size. So he wore it. When he entered a holographic screen appeared in front of him. It showed the score of the last training workout, all in the most difficult setting and perfectly scored. Maybe he should follow the last person's training. He also put it in the most difficult setting.
"Training room set to advanced mode. You have thirty seconds to prepare" an automated voice said, almost making Phoenix's heart jump out of his chest.
"Twenty-nine... Twenty-eight... Twenty-seven..." the voice began to count down.
He jumps in surprise, 'Is there a person in this room?' he thought looking around to find who just spoke. "Fifteen seconds remaining." the automated voice said.
"Forget it let me just finish this training exercise. I'll find that person later," he growled. Nobody scares the great demon king Lucifer and gets away with it.
"Bringing over the experience of Planet Xarterg. Year 5025." Planet Xarterg, according to what he read the condition of the planet is said to be deadly. With extremely low temperatures of negative seventy degrees, Celsius, constant snow storms, no light passing the planet's atmosphere, and intense gravity seventy times more than what humans are used to make the conditions for survival very difficult. But it isn't the temperatures that are deadly but rather the locals of the planet. They have evolved to survive these extreme temperatures.
They are also one of the deadliest aliens to crave human flesh, so they must be taken care of. But with the humans in their territory, with the Xartergians' incredible stealth and attack power, it was bound to not be good. Although this happened seventy-three years ago, a lot of humans couldn't survive.
Would this spacesuit be able to keep him warm? It doesn't look like it can though. Making him a bit worried. He doesn't like the cold at all. This space suit better had better keep him warm.
"Starting sequence now" Almost immediately Phoenix fell to his knees. It almost feels like that time he was asked to carry a boulder as big as an elephant. And then almost immediately a blizzard occurred and it was pitch black.
"Clear out all enemies in thirty minutes. Failure to do so will result in harsh punishments."
He imagined the worst punishment that could happen to him. Not allowing him to have any of Rosetta's cupcakes. It tastes sweet even without sugar. He doesn't want that as punishment. He hears something approaching quickly. He sees a Xartergian before it disappears in the snowy darkness again. As he struggled to stand, something hit him very hard from his side throwing him off his feet and landing him on a snowy dome.
He felt the pain from being hit and blood dripping from the side that was hit. "I thought this was supposed to hurt. Ah..." he groaned in pain as he stood up and brushed the snow off him. The suit created a thin layer on his injured skin. "How is there so much snow in less than five minutes" he grumbled. He heard a sound coming from behind him and he ducked to the side before it could hit him. But he was unfortunately hit from behind.
The red streaks in his green eyes glowed angrily. "That hurts!" he said as he imagines a scythe. It looked exactly like the one he used while he was still alive. He couldn't see with all the snow entering his eyes. But he knows he is getting surrounded. This training was a bit intense for his new untrained body. "I don't like this training," he grumbled.
"Twenty minutes remaining." the automated voice sounded making him jump a little.
"Ten minutes is already gone?! But I haven't done anything yet!" he shouted. "I shouldn't waste any more time," he said. Fortunately, there's nothing a bit of magic can't fix. All the Xartergians surrounding him attacked at the same time. With one motion the scythe slice through all the Xartergians around him in half. The Xartergians disappeared when he sliced them.
More Xartergians rushed toward him, they are moving faster than, he smiles, although he can't see them because of the snow, he could still hear them moving fast in the snow. There are about they are coming in groups of five. Attacking from all sides.
He has already gotten used to the gravitational force and was moving faster. Slicing through the Xartergians like butter. 'I thought they were one of the humans' most dangerous enemies.' he thought. 'I guess the humans are too weak to defeat them.' He then saw a bright light, almost blinding. The Xartergians are glowing. Then they shot a blast at him. He barely dodges the blast and a huge ice spike appeared behind him. "Wow," he said. That power almost seems familiar, like he has seen it before.
But that didn't matter anyway, this room is trying to kill him. He keeps dodging the ice blast thrown at him, what makes things harder is as ice blasts are being shot at him, many Xartergians are physically attacking him.
He creates a distance between himself and the Xartergians, "Ten minutes remaining."
That's it he only wanted to use magic to increase his physical strength a bit, but now it seems like he has no other choice. The scythe in his hand disappears and as he stretched out his hand, a red large magic circle appeared, almost covering the entire room. "Fire Magic: Hell Fire Flames."
Immediately the whole room was engulfed in flames. There were no traces of the Xartergian or snow anywhere. But he did feel a presence behind him. He creates a throwing knife, then threw it at the approacher.
The approacher catches the knife easily. When Phoenix saw it was not a holographic Xartergian, but instead a human. His aura shows he's powerful. "Is this how you treat your fiancé?"
'This is the second prince?' Phoenix thought as the second prince, Augustus, gets closer to him. When Augustus was in front of him, with his 5'7 frame towering over him. Phoenix couldn't help but say, "Not fair."
"What?" Augustus asked confused. What's not fair.
"How are you so tall?!" Phoenix exclaimed angrily.
