'What a nice forest...- And it really was a beautiful place. Trees just tall enough to not hit passers-by with their branches, a barely sensible, cool breeze, with a weather that was neither to hot, nor too chilly. 'Right, what was that about?'
'Hmmm...'
'How exactly do I do this...'
'Status'- With just this word, a transparent screen appeared before the boy one that seemed to tell him his whole life and more...

Stats?
'Mimic?'- was he one of those treasure chest monsters? Was he one of those unassuming dungeon traps? No, that couldn't be, he was a human, wasn't he? A lot of questions went over Kiyoshi's head. 'He was a pure young Japanese'- he said to himself over and over.
When the sun started to approach the horizon, with hot rays of light that annoyed his eyes, Kiyoshi finally realized how futile his tantrum was. It would neither bring him back to the undoubtedly more cozy castle, nor change him back into a human, so the best he could do was to accept this new identity and try to find ,,THE LAUGHTING GOD" who did this to him.
Fiddling with the strange red status screen, he found out that he could change the stats that would be showing on the normal one. Changing consume into - Dagger skills lv.1-, even without understanding what the III meant, was a first step. Erasing his fake title of -Hero- was the second.
Trying the body morph skill, the backbone of a Mimic, he found out that he could even change his clothes 'Since when was my uniform part of my body?'- though he wondered how it exactly worked , it didn't matter. Nothing was more suspicious than a young boy that was traveling through a forest while wearing strange clothing.
He changed his clothing to that of a peasant( or at least what he thought a peasant's clothing looked like) and switched his chestnut frills to a more common jet black color, while also not forgetting to slightly change his face complexion. He didn't worry about the age, as seeing that the world he found himself in was so cliche to have hero summoning, there were probably teenagers as knights and adventurers( if even those existed...).
The only other thing he didn't bother to change was his eyes. Looking in a little river he found close by, he couldn't bring himself to change them. Pupils, sapphire in color, that seemed cut or cracked on the edges like broken glass, they looked strange. Yet he couldn't remember them appearing any different in the past.
Then he started traveling. To where? He couldn't know, but anything would be better than in the middle of the woods. It didn't take more than an hour for something to happen. Right at the edges of his view, Kiyoshi glanced a group of men that appeared to be carrying something. Getting closer, he so that it was a person, a girl to be exact.
"Ohhhohho~ boss, I can't wait to have a taste of such fine quality"
"Then taste my foot instead!"- the leader of the bandits, a scrappy middle aged individual seemed much more rational than this brethren "Let there be known, I will personally cut out the tongue of anyone who touches the goods!"-... making a pause, he eyed every bandit who looked towards the hostage "The Count will pay big money for her, but we won't get a dime if she is ravaged!"
Kiyoshi looked at the girl in question. Even with a gag over her mouth and her elegant gown is strips, she was really beautiful.
Golden locks that seemed to glow even with the dirt on them, that prolonged over skin so silky it seemed made of white porcelain. She had blue eyes that spoke with such innocence that they looked... tasty. 'Oh, god'-he hummed to himself. Did he just call them tasty? He pushed the disgust out of his mind and thought about the current situation.
The Count's daughter could be saved even with out him, but that would be like throwing away a good opportunity. As that disturbing skill would erase all possible opportunities, could he fight off the bandits, without it? Then he got an idea. Mimics use their transformation abilities to make their organic bodies out of metal or wood, so could he use that to make it look like he was wielding a knife instead of cutting them with claws? Only one way to find out.
He left the protection of the tree trunks from where he assessed the situation and pretended to run at the bandits while creating the dagger in his hand. The first bandit that went in his way, a fat man that had it's belly riddled with scars seemed to ramble something about "who he is", but Kiyoshi didn't listen.
He lunged at the man's belly and made a cut straight across one side to the other, surprising him with the ease of the action. the bandit's intestines immediately flew out, together with a considerable amount of blood. Though the man tried to stand, his feet left him out with only a whimper. Before he knew it, he was dead. It didn't take long for the other bandits to understand what was going on.
Two more approached the now bloodied boy, one that looked like a former knight and the other that seemed like he was a gladiator not long ago.
"You, You"-screamed their leader. "Clavius! Maxis! Get the intruder!"
"Will do boss"- the knight, wearing a rusty armor, seemed to express a very tragic tale. Perhaps he was in the service of a once glorious noble family, like his father before him. A glorious family that perhaps...
Kiyoshi looked at the knight. He was undoubtedly once glorious, but now, his armor was so rusty it almost looked like it would disintegrate, so he got an idea. He ran straight at the night, ducked under a surprisingly slow jab and plunged the organic knife straight into the armor-clad warrior's chest, while also prolonging the blade to make sure it penetrates. It did just that.
The armor, bended and broke at the moment of impact and not long after the boy retreated, the knight collapsed in a pool of blood. The other bandits, at the start cheering for the two men and making bets about who would get the killing blow felt a chill running down their spine. Even the tied up girl, sitting on her belly, glanced at what was happening.
"Nice one, kid"-said the gladiator who looked more overjoyed than anything
"That tied up dipshit always got on my nerves with his stupid morals, but it's not nice for brothers to kill each other, you see"
"Since when am I your brother?"- The trident wielding bandit was getting on Kiyoshi's nerve. As if he would waste this chance at a new life by joining some lowly bandits, ones that from what he observed up to now, couldn't even be compared to his power.
So he didn't let him continue. He lunged past his trident, completely ignoring the bandit's futile attempt to pierce him with the three sharp edges of his weapon and cut his neck. Just a moment later, the head let itself fall backwards, still slightly attached to the neck.
...
Kiyoshi had to give credit to some of the other bandits as they were more sensible than he first thought. Apparently killing the two most powerful in the band, just getting closer made most of the criminals run away. He should have probably stopped them, but then again, there was still a hostage before him.
Killing another five or so thugs left him with only the boss, who was now both convulsing and pissing himself on the ground while shouting "No! No!". Whether he ended him just to make sure, or to compensate for the ones he left away, Kiyoshi didn't know.
What he did know was that he now had a beauty before him, who was eyeing him with a frightened look, that was probably worth his weight in gold.
Now, what to do with her?
