The venom that lay dormant inside Leonidas's body when he drank the lemon rose tea was now fully triggered, and for Leonidas, it came out of nowhere like an epiphany. The pain that Leonidas felt was agonizing; he began to spasm, his body was shaking, and black veins began to creep up his neck.
John, who was sitting near the window, noticed his grandfather was acting strange "Yo grandpa, whats wrong? Why are you tweakin?". Leonidas continued to shake for a few seconds before looking angry at Decker while gripping his chest. "What the hell did you do to me, Decker?"
Decker grinned evilly at Leonidas's question "Nothing, my lord". Leonidas then sensed something strange. He looked out the window and saw that his vampire guards were being attacked and killed by dark, humanoid shadow figures. In an instant, Leonidas grabbed John and immediately escaped the carriage.
When Leonidas got outside, he saw that all of his knights had been killed. John was shocked and afraid, as everything happened so quickly. He looked up at his grandfather, who had a stern expression on his face "What the hell is going on gramps?"
The carriage then came to a stop, and Decker stepped out. Four black figures then surrounded John and Leonidas. "My lord, why did you jump out of the carriage hehehe" Decker said while walking to where Leonidas was standing.
John then noticed that the dark figures had the same faces as Decker. "Yo Decker, what is the meaning of this?"
Leonidas then became angry; it had been so long since somebody had the guts to ambush him "You will die for this Decker". Leonidas then instantly attacked Decker, attempting to take his head off, but a dark figure had already appeared to block his attack. Leonidas was surprised when the dark figure was able to block his attack. He became angrier and attacked with a huge fireball attack that even made Decker get out of the way. The ground was scorched, and the black figure was nowhere to be found. Leonidas then coughed up a mouth full of black blood. Three black figures then surrounded Leonidas "Grandpa." John wanted to run towards Leonidas, but he held out his hand. "Don't come closer boy; you will just get in the way."
John gritted his teeth and clenched his fist "fine".
Leonidas then looked at Decker and said, "You surprise me, Decker; how did you poison me, Decker? I can tell this is werewolf venom, and from an alpha lord no less, I am impressed".
Decker then walked with his hands behind his back and said, "I have more surprises up my sleeve, my lord; now attack". The dark figures then attacked Leonidas; however, he managed to dodge all their attacks and countered with fireball attacks, which burned all three figures. "Now it's time for you to die". He then shot a fireball towards Decker, but another dark figure came out of his body to block the attack. "You don't get it, Leonidas; I cannot be killed, and the dark figures you killed will just come back to life."
Leonidas then coughed up black blood in his hand and fell to his knees, and when he looked up, 5 dark figures were surrounding him. "Dammit, I don't have access to all my abilities, what did that witch put into the venom". He looked at the black blood that was in his hand and vaporised it with his fire ability.
Red fire surrounded his hands, even John could feel the heat from where he was standing. The five dark figures then started attacking Leonidas at the same time, but he dodged all their attacks and retaliated with a fire wave that engulfed the five dark figures. The fire was so hot that John had to run away further from the battle scene. Leonidas then used this chance to attack Decker while the dark figures were busy regenerating.
"Die!" Leonidas shouted.
Decker then summoned a dark figure to throw himself out of the way. Then one dark figure attacked Leonidas from behind, kicking him in the back and making him crash into the nearby boulders.
John was worried when he saw his grandpa being kicked into the boulder "Grandpa!!"
Leonidas emerged from the rubble and quickly went after two dark figures. He grabbed both of them in the face and burned their heads off. He quickly threw a fireball towards Decker, blowing the vampire's right shoulder away.
John was happy to see his grandpa win, and he started cheering him on "Go grandpa, kick their ass"
Leonidas then kicked another dark figure, but it caught his foot. Leonidas then grinned "Fool" and out of his foot came a fireball that sent the dark figure flying away. Leonidas then rose into the air and began to create a huge fireball. He looked at Carlos Decker and said "Take this, Destruction Flame Sphere". The huge flame ball then turned into a light blue flame.
Decker had a terrified expression on his face, he then pointed at John and said "Are you also going to kill your grandson Leonidas!!". Leonidas then looked at John, and before he could do anything, the venom inside his body began to flare up, and black blood leaked from his nose, and his body began to spasm. Black blood leaked from his mouth, and that split second gave one of the black figures enough time to drive his fist through Leonidas's stomach. The huge blue fireball dissipated and he fell from the sky.
"You had me worried there for a second, my lord" Decker then appeared, where Leonidas was lying on the ground, and he stomped his foot on his chest and said "You fucking cunt".
One of the dark figures had already grabbed John and brought him to where Decker was standing "Let go of me, you jerk!". The dark figure let John go, and he ran to his grandfather.
"Grandpa, are you okay? Stand up; I thought you were the strongest."
Leonidas groaned as he was in great pain, his regenerative ability was working slowly as a result of the venom in his body "Piss off".
He then looked at Decker, "Leave the boy, Decker, kill me and spare him".
Decker chuckled, "Oh no my lord, you don't get to make demands here… you and the boy are going to die but unfortunately not by my hands, I have something else in store for you two"
Decker took his foot off of Leonidas and went to John," You have my thanks young master, if you weren't here, I surely would have died" he then punched John in the stomach, knocking the boy unconscious. Carlos Decker then began to dance around Leonidas
After a half hour, two flying ships came out of the sky and landed on the ground. A few of Decker's henchmen came and were ordered to put John and Leonidas on one of the ships. They travelled for a few hours until they reached a cave. In those few hours, John had already woken up "Where are we?".
Decker smiled "I brought you here to meet my child, however, he is always hungry and you two are going to be his food"
Leonidas was in great pain, he had stab wounds all over his body. John saw that his wounds did not regenerate and was worried he is going to die. Decker then ordered his men to move the huge boulder that was blocking the cave's entrance.
"Leonidas, you thought I forgot, but I still remember that time how you let my daughter be devoured by that creature. Today, you and your grandchild will both be eaten…it is a shame I will not be here to see it, but I will sure come to collect your bones and give them to Vivian"
Leonidas had a confused expression on his face "Who the hell is Vivian?"
Carlos Decker began to laugh, "Of course you don't know, how many people's family members you reaped; you killed thousands, you probably lost count of how much pain you caused; you don't even care at this point… her full name is Vivian Ashdown, she is actually responsible for the venom spreading in your body, without her this wouldn't have been possible hehe"
John was left speechless; he couldn't believe that his grandfather was such an evil person "Grandpa, is it true?"
Carlos Decker laughed "How could you not know young master, I am sorry that you have to die too; blame your grandfather in the next life… and Leonidas go ask my daughter for forgiveness while you are there"
Decker then looked at his henchmen and said "Take anything Leonidas has on him and then throw them both in the cave". Leonidas was then picked up and thrown into the cave, while John who was still in good condition was shoved inside the cave.
John ran to his grandfather "Grandpa are you okay?" He then looked at Decker "What happens now Mr Decker? Are you going to leave us here?"
Decker then chuckled "Silly, silly boy, did you not hear what I said, you are going to die in this cave…There is a troll in this cave, I raised him myself, and he is going to devour you both, just like my daughter… he is going to eat everything except your bones"
John was scared. He looked at his grandfather who was starting to go into unconsciousness. "The cave is huge; you have time to stall for time, but my boy will find you eventually, he likes the chase" Decker said while grinning, feeling very pleased with himself
"There have been many victims inside this cave over the years, do try to survive as long as possible and tell Leonidas that I am going to attack his castle in four days; furthermore, I have to rest to get my powers back. I am still getting used to it. Tell him to be patient. Tell him that I will send every one of his family members to the afterlife, including the children and the maids."
John then thought of Elena and his family: "I won't let that happen"
Decker found John's statement hilarious, and he laughed out loud and began to dance "You have bigger things to worry about, boy"
"Now close the entrance" Decker said to his henchmen. They then slowly moved the huge boulder. John was staring angrily at Decker while the huge boulder was slowly covering the entrance.
