I found myself pacing back and forth inside my room, unable to sleep. My mind was circling around the fact that I wasn't alone right now, and the person with me was Jace.
The rain had stopped pouring heavily outside, but it was too dark outside to send Jace away. Plus, I'm not sure if it was just my imagination or if Jace was actually glad to have stayed in here too.
"Tch," I threw myself on the bed, and my feet finally got tired of pacing around aimlessly. I had changed the bedsheet and pillows. Now the bed didn't look too girly.
"Damn," I mumbled. "Why am I having such absurd thoughts?"
I turned over, touching my lips tentatively as I stared at the ceiling.
"Get a grip, Amiel. This isn't the time for that."
I clicked my tongue.
Speaking of time, I glanced at the digital clock on top of the bedside table and groaned. It was twenty minutes past 9. I was thinking about calling Wizardo, but I was hesitant to do so for some reason.
